I find myself fascinated by these kinds of isolated places. Someday, I may get to some of them. I live in Washington State, and would love to see some of our more isolated places shown on videos like this. Lake Chelan, northeast of Seattle is one of those places. So are Metaline Falls and Ione, up in the northeastern corner of Washington. How about some videos covering them, too? Thank you.

Note: the lake may be dwarf compared to our great lakes however. . Its clean. You can't swim in Michigan, you can't eat fish out of erie, etc. These giant lakes are destroyed. They are ill. This location is so remote due to its harsh weather and lack of resources only the local inhabitants live there. Even the vikings didn't last there. It's untouched, clean, home to locals just the way the world should be.

Umm guys Kyle is correct. You can swim in any lake in the Great Lakes system and fishing is common there. I'm speaking as a Canadian but it is likely the same with lake Michigan as well.

@@kyleskadeland1728 watched a bunch of videos on Norilsk the other day, they all portrayed it as some hellhole and there was always some comment from "experience" about how it is better to die than to live there. Then there was this one video from a guy who actually lived there which basically went "uh I don't know what the fuss is about, i'm literally fine here, here is me walking to work". Looked at pictures of the place on google maps and it just looks like a mix between Hamilton, ON and where my dad lived in Vladivostok, but in the middle of some beautiful hike-worthy arctic tundra. So really I think these comments either come from attention-seekers (unlikely) or from a minority that had some sort of outlying bad experience.
