The LARGEST PREDATOR in the Lake!!

In this episode of BlacktipH, Jake and I go fishing for giant musky on Lake St. Clair. We met up with our friend Joe, one of the best musky fishermen in Windsor. He has a revival tank we put the fish in after we catch them to rejuvenate them so they can be released safely. Joe put out a spread of baits on the planers, and we began trolling around the lake. Our first hook-up was a big one- a musky that measured 47 inches! We put it in the revival tank, and our baits out for another fish. Shortly afterward, Jake and I doubled up on two more muskies- landed them, and placed them in the tank. After a bit of time, we took the healthy fish out and released them safely back into the lake.

I got my biggest muskies there in the past three years with my buddy who lives there. I am from Pittsburgh and never experienced this before. Amazing place to fish and now I am hooked for life. I got a 51 1/2 my buddy a 52 1/2 and massive smallys, walleye, and pike. Awesome place. You guys know how to do it. Well done.

It has been my dream to catch a musky at some point in my life! Was at rice lake this summer and for the first time I hooked into one and it was huge. We have a 36” musky mounted at home and this one I had on could have eaten it.. Was at least a 48” but I strongly believe it was 50+.. The fight went on for over 10 min cause our net wasn’t big enough to fit it in.. It ended up breaking off from my line grazing the front of our pontoon boat.. was so disappointing.. especially since it was a trophy fish.. can’t wait to catch one and finally get it in the boat. Hopefully it’s the same size too! Awesome video 💯💯

I was also moving fish on top water in 55 degree water. Casting whopper plopper and those types that churn up a lot of water. Which is fun to see in the cooler temp water.

Lake saint Claire was the first place I went as an adult by myself (without my dad) and I caught some monster pike and smallmouth. Beautiful lake

You guys should come to Lake michigan in the summer for some king salmon trolling! Living on the lake I've seen some good sized salmon come up the rivers but the lake has the real giants! Tight lines man!!

That is some complicated fishing.... LSC is an AWESOME FISHERY... But... Catching Musky on the lake is really tough. I like the revival tank... Sent a few back to go belly up. Musky tend to exhaust during the fight. Windsors Jason's has the best "Ballet"... check it out... LOL Heal Up Josh.

Hey my Blacktip family, want some huge Muskie? Mouth of the Thames river, it empties into St Clair by a town called Lighthouse Cove, Ontario. In the late fall use big Rapala Shad’s and troll the area. We catch 50 to 55s all the time. Good luck and welcome back Josh!
