The observable universe is a tiny portion of the universe that we can see. I don’t know the percentage but it’s definitely under 10%. Plus, this star is 20 thousand light years away, so what we are seeing is its state 20 thousand years ago. It mustve grown a lot more by now. The University is crazy

@@bunnyphoenix2992 I am no physicist, but if I am correct, the outward pressure of the explosions is in direct proportion to the gravitational forces that are relentlessly pulling the mass of the star toward its center. When the force of the explosions is no longer sufficient to offset the gravitational pull, the star will implode, explode into a hyper nova, and then the remnant of the core will collapse into a supermassive black hole. The resulting black hole will probably have an event horizon larger than our sun, and be millions of solar masses in mass. I ran on, but this is complicated science.

Most people have the impression that the Sun is relatively small. While there are stars much bigger, most stars are much smaller. The most common star in the universe is the red dwarf, about 80% of all stars. That puts the Sun at least in the upper 20%.

According to my calculations, if the sun can fit 1.3m earths inside it and can fit 8m suns inside stephenson 2-18. The amount of earth inside stephenson 2-18 is 10.4t. To get the answer, we will use multiplication operation. Here is the Solving: 1 sun= 1.3m earths 1 biggest star in the universe=8m suns if we multiply the amount of earth inside 1 sun to 8m suns in 1 biggest star, we should have the total of earth inside stephenson 2-18 1,300,000x8,000,000 is equal to... 1.04e13 or 1.04e+13 10.4t or 10,400,000,000,000 Therefore, there are 10.4 trillion earths in 8million suns inside stephenson 2-18.

so based on what i said and a video about how many earths would fit in the sun, theoretically only 900,000 earths would be able to fit in the sun So 900,000 x 8,000,000= 7.2E+12 or 7,200,000,000,000 or 7.2t and thats far from close to the actual answer because i dont know if 8m suns would really fit in stephenson 2-18

If you aren't already talking about them .. look up quasi stars ;) They are hypothetical and should only have been able to exist in the very early universe, but are basically this. Okay, not nearly light-years in size, but extremely big nevertheless. They have a black hole in the center, which is feeding on the outer shell and the accretion disk is providing the radiation pressure to prevent them from collapsing for a few millions of years.

The largest known object in the universe is the supercluster of galaxies called Laniakea, discovered in 2014. However, if we consider individual objects, the largest is: 1. VY Canis Majoris: A red hypergiant star located in the constellation Canis Major. Size comparison: - Diameter: approximately 2,100 times larger than our Sun (1,420,000,000 km / 880,000,000 miles) - Volume: around 3 billion times larger than our Sun Other massive objects: 1. UY Scuti: A yellow supergiant star (1,708 times larger than our Sun) 2. Stephenson 2-18 (St2-18): A massive star (1,500 times larger than our Sun) 3. Messier 87* (M87*): A supermassive black hole (6.5 billion times more massive than our Sun) Largest structures: 1. Laniakea Supercluster: A network of galaxy filaments (500 million light-years across) 2. Sloan Great Wall: A vast wall of galaxies (1.37 billion light-years across) 3. Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall: A massive galaxy filament (10 billion light-years across) Note: These sizes and scales are difficult to comprehend, but they illustrate the enormity of celestial objects.

Talking about a loaded comment. First of all, can you demonstrate it was "created." Secondly, even if you could demonstrate the universe was created how do you know it was "god?" Maybe a hyperdimensional civilization created our universe?

@@fearlessj.walker3277 lol. It's funny you think I'm mad or something. I'm asking about the "logic" of his argument.
@fearlessj.walker3277
@fearlessj.walker3277 Жыл бұрын
@StaticBlaster I don't think you're mad, and he didn't make an argument. Like I said, no one knows everything. The idea of a high power being creating shit, isn't that farfetched...I mean just look how we got to this point. No one can explain it. No I'm not religous.
@StaticBlaster
@StaticBlaster Жыл бұрын
@@fearlessj.walker3277 God is not a valid answer and lacks explanatory power. The word ‘magic’ could be substituted with the same level of credibility and because of this it most definitely is far-fetched because you could say magic created the universe however there's no evidence supporting either.

I think it will be very cool if there is a planet the size of stephenson-18 (maybe less density so that it doesn't become a sun). You will never run out of places to travel and explore

God!, we are so tiny and fragile.... people of earth please wake up and let's value each other. Let's go to see what else is out there. But we can't if we act like crabs in a bucket pulling ourselves back into the bucket due to egocentric reasons.

When he said "if we replaced our sun with this star, its outer layers would extend beyond the orbit of Saturn" I initially thought, meh, it's not so enormous then, but then I remembered that Saturn's orbit is like 9.5 astronomical units away from the Sun!

The biggest star in the universe (that we know of), UY Scuti is a variable hypergiant with a radius around 1,700 times larger than the radius of the sun. To put that in perspective, the volume of almost 5 billion suns could fit inside a sphere the size of UY Scuti.
@UniversalParadox1
@UniversalParadox1 3 ай бұрын
Actually, that data is inaccurate, a while ago it was proven that since UY Scuti is so far away the data and images of it were inaccurate, and it was proven to be way smaller than it was seen to be, about betelgeuse level of size if you don't believe me, I got the proof from Neil DeGrasse Tyson in a random video he was in about space. All of this is what Neil DeGrasse Tyson said.
