And AOC has been injured a couple of times. If Jacksonville wants to lose, they can continue their losing culture. But we are trying to build a winning culture, and I believe we will. You don't know what our future will be. There are a lot of players that have excelled from later rounds. But tanking is a bad precedent to the whole franchise

What is it about football fans, man? We get caught up in the emotions of the game and stop thinking logically because we're "fan"atics? Teams in the NBA rest starters to prevent injury so they can win the games that count and push for championships. That is basically losing on purpose. When the best teams have clinched the #1 seed, or if their seeding is set, they rest their starters to avoid injury because their eyes are set on the big picture: win the Superbowl, not meaningless games in January. When teams are out of the picture to make the playoffs, they are sellers at the trade deadline, so they trade away great players to contenders in order to make room in the salary cap for next year. That's losing on purpose. That's a plan. It's not looked upon as a blight to their reputation because it's a smart business practice. What Mark allowed his coach to do Sunday was not. And that is why we continue to be a laughing stock of a franchise.

Been a lot of bad decision making at the top and not so great coaching coupled with a bottom 5 defense for DC broke his leg. I don't have all the answers but releasing DC, and JJ for nothing was stupid so we trade an unhappy Adams. Pierce was damn near tampering last year with the qb he wanted. I hear there are some ruffled feathers between Davis and Telesco, this draft will show who's pushing the the buttons. AP out here cooking on a Habachi, with no seasoning, give him a full year. I'd rather take the risk on actual legit QBs that may be overranked in the first round than sticking with eternal backup AOC or signing a washed up vet like Cousins for a year or two plodding along and staying in purgatory.

They can be equally as bad as they are good if they are developed properly to whichever NFL team picks them up, it remains to be seen. Point is, the Raiders need to pick up a QB in the draft whoever it is to develop, make it a yearly habit so that they can make a real attempt to developing a franchise QB a multi-year process.
