Accountable? I'm sure Prince was prescribed a low amount of pain pills or meds. The problem is pain fluctuates so people take more meds. I suspect Prince obtained something not prescribed and accidentally overdosed.

@violetgc60497 ай бұрын
No, he for sure didn't die naturally. He died because he had become addicted to opiates and he ended up with a bad batch of counterfeit Vicodin laced with fentanyl. And it killed him. And that was a huge loss for the world. I remember being in a cafe with my husband and our children for a nice lunch, and my husband leans over and whispers "Violet......Prince has died." I had heard about the plane having to do an emergency landing the week before, and had been worried that it would end up like this. I had to leave the restaurant. I went outside to the sidewalk and began to cry. Realizing I was not just going to shed two or three tears, I then ran back into the cafe and headed for the restroom where I fully sobbed for a few minutes. It took months to fully process that Prince was gone. And even after all of that, I do not believe he was "taken out." I know how he died and it makes perfect sense to me. It just sucks. In 2023 I visited an online gallery sale. Amongst the pages of images, I discovered this immense purple painting of Prince wearing a crown adorned with rhinestones. I bid on it and in a few weeks, that painting showed up at my doorstep. It's five feet tall and three feet wide. My kids have never given me a hard time about why I bought such a behemoth painting of Prince, of all people. They know. They were there the moment I found out that he'd died. They saw my pain. My given name is in fact Violet. So you can imagine, being a little kid in the 80s with "His Purple Highness" dominating the charts, that I felt an affinity for the man. As a musician I also have always looked to Prince for inspiration. You said it best, dear one: He will NEVER BE DUPLICATED. How lucky are we to have lived in the same era as Prince???

No amount of money , fame, or God-given talent can replace true love, companionship, & the loss of a loved one. ESPECIALLY a child. I know because I lost a child. 💔😭 It saddens me greatly to know I'll never hear him play again, this side of Heaven. But hopefully, he was right with God. May he RIP. He truly was the GOAT, IMHO 💜💜💜

@supme7558 um, he did have a son, Amiir Nelson. He died shortly after he was born. It totally wrecked him. He may not have shown it publicly, but if you're a Prince fan/follower, you should know this. Yes, he was bi-sexual. But he also fell in love and married Mayte Garcia. I believe the death of their son destroyed their relationship. Unless you've experienced it you have NO IDEA just how difficult it is. There's a reason there's no word for it in the English language. You're not an orphan or a widow. It goes against the "laws of nature " to have to bury a child. But God! He thankfully sent His own perfect Son to teach, disciple, heal, perform miracles, love, & become the only 💯 God & 💯 Man perfect Sacrifice for all mankind to reconcile us to a holy & perfect God. I pray that Prince & Amiir have been reunited in Heaven, just like I will be with my middle son.

All musicians are thieves, but the good ones make it untraceable."_ Because there's really no such thing as total originality anymore, but if you're talented enough, like Prince, you can take from dozens of genres & influences and make it your _own._ Which is why I love Prince _and_ Matt Mahaffey 🥰

It was a terrible accident that he died. And he died far, far too soon. But the actions leading up to Prince's death are not that of a victim of coercion or control. Having had training on "opiate" addiction specifically, I still was unable to detect (pick up on) from a good friend (s) they were on opiates and were not talking small amts as I would imagine u kno their addiction increased over time. It was their "normal" which it was my "normal" around them. jus some fyi

First of all, shout out to Prince and his family and his contribution to humanity helping people and so on. Secondly, people don't understand it. When you're in pain you need something to relieve the pain. But you are mostly responsible for how you use what you take for pain. The other thing is no disrespect to anybody in this video, especially Prince Prince, you got to be accountable. What you do for what you take. What you for what you eat. Pain killers is just a mask to what's bothering you you the second way hear all those people around him around him doesn't look like they tried to help him too much to stop the abuse you was going to himself another thing is a reality check. No one is resting in peace. They have simply have died. When you rest in peace you get to get up the next. Check out the history of rip most countries don't even say rest in peace. They say something else. It's more appropriate people that rest in peace. Get up and enjoy another day and life. Whether it's you, me or anyone large or small, black or white, yellow or brown, a lot of people stars and non-stars that went this route. If you never had to deal with this stuff, you are very lucky you are still alive or if we got away from these things safely, you're very much fortunate. It's a saying that this happened to him, him painkillers be them over the counter or prescribe is no joke. Everyone take care of yourselves. It's the only self you're ever have have, live each day to the fullest money. Don't mean a thing if you can't spend it or help somebody else out with it.

Prince was a musical genius, but he was just a man. Stop treating these people as if they are some higher form of being. Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson, every time a celebrity dies fairly young there’s all these people that are convinced there was some type of conspiracy involved, as if these people aren’t subject to the same foibles and weaknesses the rest of us are. Stop worshiping these people and admire them for their talent and ability to entertain but that’s it. The sad thing is instead of being rational, and realizing that not even Prince is immune to the opioid crisis in America right now, people would rather engage in wild speculations based on flimsy evidence. Meanwhile, our young people are dying due to fentanyl and other opioid based drugs.

I'm very thankful to have grown up while Prince was trailblazing his fantastic and iconic career! I also know how easy he fell into opiate addiction....I also know how he felt the moment he realized he took too much. The fear of death taking hold, the anger of "wtf did I take those last few, I didn't need??" and finally the acceptance of knowing you did too much and now its over...you close your eyes and.....Some of us wake up and some of us dont. I'm truly sorry Prince didn't get the help....that someone didn't give him the hard truth and tough love I got. I have a feeling though...he is out there in the next phase of whatever happens after this life, and he's trailblazing a new and different path!!

I’ve worked in nursing for nearly 40 yrs. The Internal Medicine physician I worked for became certified in pain management several yrs ago. We provided pain mgt for our patients rather than refer them out. So I have a background in pain mgt nursing. I agree with you. I don’t believe Prince was suffering from addiction as such . He had at least one hip surgery from the preforming and injuring himself wearing heels. Jumping from pianos he’d injured joints over the years. He likely needed pain management that included the use of opioid pain pills. A patients body can become dependent on the medication over time. But “physiological dependence” and “psychological chemical dependence”, or true “addiction” are two very different things. I think he developed physical / physiological dependence and his doctors weren’t handling things well. Tried stopping or discontinuing his opioid treatment suddenly. So he accepted medication from the streets in the interim which was laced with fentanyl unfortunately. He had no tolerance for fentanyl and it easily overtook him.

Addiction is living in a hell (looks like it as everyone in this situation) . It goes slowly and slowly, you start noticing habits you never noticed before. Then the drugs are needed. No friends anymore… Had the doctors together with Prince talked about it earlier, maybe he would still be alive and make great music… And his legacy will remain ❤💛🧡🤍🩵💜🩷🧡🤍💚💛💖 59:0158:29 Then I have this feeling that he must have known that his (frail) body could handle that much poison. The drug abuse usually happens in every music industry in different countries around the world. I think it’s because nothing matches the excitement of being on stage. That’s the ultimate high. When the Artist experiences that sort of high, the need to replace it with drugs. Classic story. The world has lost many artist geniuses since the beginning of time to drugs.

Hi, a very sad, heartbroken Prince fan here from Yorkshire, England. We were born in the same year, I proudly wore a raspberry coloured beret all the way through a very hot summer after hearing his song-" Raspberry Beret" I was besotted with him from the first time I saw him,fell in love with him, his music filled every occasion in my life, the happy and sad times.I like to think, in my dreams, that if we ever met, that we would have been friends, just like so many Prince fans may have thought.I have his pictures around my home, I live alone now so they are a comfort. Out of the blue, I remember he has gone, and my heart breaks over again. But what a legacy of amazing music from a once in a lifetime musician, I treasure every note.i just want to add that I do wish, someone had tried, job on the line or not, to get through to Prince to help him get the help he needed.RIP, my beautiful soul Prince.
