I enjoy seeing the mower running!! It's nice to see tractors doing what they were designed to do besides driving around lawn.

@LeeLastofthedinosaurs-ex7zo of the sickle bar in action? My father and I mow our 2 hay fields with sickle bar mowers on our Farmall Cub and Farmall H. So I have seen a bunch of things the mower can do. Along with some of the headaches.

Nice to see the passion in collecting a brand in carrying on from things you grew up with and see the amount of pieces that a company produced.

Cool sickle mower and nice Allis Chalmers collection. I used an Allis 608LT back in the late 70's and early 1980's. Nice little tractor and spent much time on it mowing.

A superb looking little tractor, love the sickle mower. Allis-Chalmers in general are really simple running and easy to maintain. Dad had a model B back in the 60, really miss having them both around. Thanks for sharing.

My dad and I were an AC, Deutz and Agco dealers until 2007, and looking in records, we sold 32 919H's from 1981-1986. I think 1985 and 1986 were Deutz Allis. This was at Greenbrier Tractor Sales in Lewisburg, WV.

I have a 1972 Allis Chalmers scamper 8 in my collection. I have never been able to find any more scamper 8s. Alot more scamper 7s since they were manufactured them longer than the 8 was.

Great looking collection. I see several nice machines in there. Like the Powermax right next to his 919. I've seen a couple 919's at tractor shows. Sharp looking units.

You can only use one at a time, I have heard that probably as much as you have. I also collected tractors of all kinds, one of my favorite tractors that I use almost every day and I have made many attachments for is my 720 Allis The only thing I cannot stand about it is the steering if you hit any kind of bump or a small branch with one of your front wheels you better be holding on to the steering wheel with all your might or you’re going to either get your hands broken or something. Bad design or maybe mine is just getting worn out. Other than that it’s been my favorite tractor and I get a lot of compliments 👍

Am I wrong but didn't Simplicity make all the lawn and Garden tractors for them? I worked for several years at a local Simplicity dealership and about all I see in this collection are a version of Simplicity's.

I don't know if they built ALL of them but, A-C bought Simplicity Manufacturing in 1965 to make lawn and garden equipment, then sold it back to Simplicity management in 1983.
