Wow, you really struck gold with this haul! So fun when you can find a collection that is still in such good shape! I’m not going to lie, The Giggling Ghost is calling to me. Wow! You picked up some good stuff! The artwork in the illustrated Conan books look awesome. I always feel a little sad whenever I come across someone’s collection that’s been sold off, sad if this fellow collector has passed away but also deeply grateful their collecting habits saved me a lot of time trying to accumulate them on my own. I just wish when I find them they are priced as cheap as you found yours!! This video was a lot fun 😸 Good luck on the challenge!!

Thank you. This last shopping spree felt like a holiday. I have known collectors who just sold the stuff because they lost interest in having so much. It does happen.

No I haven't but I'll give it a try. I don't know if this is weird but I do like reading to horror-themed Ambient sounds/music on KZbin. There is one for the Overlook Hotel and one for a Zombie Apocalypse that I use a lot. I also like Gregorian chanting in the background.

If the goal is to clear off your shelves of unread material, you would be correct. But that's not everyone's goal. It's like fasting. People don't necessarily do it for weight loss but for the experience of fasting. In my case, challenge or not, these books would have been coming home with me. I do need to reduce my book inventory, but I highly doubt these new volumes will leave my collection.
