I literally had a mental breakdown because i have had to go to L&D 2x now because of pelvic pain and i was sobbing in the car because i felt so stupid for going in but turns out i had a kidney infection the first time and kidney stones the second time 🙃 the nurses were so kind , i felt awful though i kept apologizing and telling them how embarrassed I felt.

OMG regarding Survivor and pregnancy: I was in the hospital being induced with my 1st child on the day of the 1st season finale. This was a huge television event at the time in late August 2000. I remember hoping I would get to see the finale before I went into active labor. Luckily it all worked out. My husband and I were able to watch the finale and my son (who is almost 21 now 😳) was born about 5 hours later. 👍👍 I always remember the Survivor thing when I remember him being born. This brought all of those memories back. Wishing your new little family all the best! ❤️

For my fourth child I had an appointment to be induced by 2 pm. It was during Rosie O’Donnell’s prime so I planned to go into labor and have her by 3 pm so I could watch my show. I went into labor at 12:30 and had her at 3:05. Pretty darn good!!

I think I’ve commented this before, but I went into labor at 38 weeks to the day and my little guy was born at 38 weeks 1 day. It was so unexpected and crazy, but incredible. My mom died really suddenly when I was 23. I was devastated that she wouldn't be there when I had kids. I got pregnant when I was 27 and it was so bittersweet wanting to call and tell her and ask for advice and being unable. My son is 7 now and it still feels really unfair. However, I will tell you with total honesty I felt my mom with me in the delivery room, in the middle of the night crying while trying to figure out nursing my baby and many times since. She will be there with you! Something devastating and heartbreaking doesn't have to lead to even more heartbreak for you. I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. It is so hard trying to navigate adulthood without them. ❤

I had a similar sling when was son was a baby and we both loved it! Soon you will see what a rarity it is to have your hands free -- and the sling gives you free hands and so much freedom to do things while still being with baby. @@michealayoung3469 I have diabetes with that they dont want baby to reach full term most of the time because it causes complications especially when they get super chunky it's harder for moms to pass but she also has a mass in her lung both of those things are factors in inducing me. She is perfect already practicing breathing but I do need to travel to a different hospital that has a NICU team ready in case of breathing problems and she will need a breathing assessment after birth so they dont want to wait until 40w where my water may break and if she does need that NICU team theres not one at the hospital in my city it's a hour away lol

I had to be induced because baby was running out of amniotic fluid and I was past due. It was the best! I’ve had one labor induced and one not induced. The induction was way better. I was prepared, not stressed, and labor was only 3 1/2 from start to finish lol

Sierra, you are absolutely glowing! So excited for you and Stephen 💕 Also, if wraps intimidate you but you end up wanting to ease into them, try the Ergobaby Embrace. It's similar but fully constructed so no wrapping required. The Konny Baby Carrier or Baby K'tan are very well rated and I have friends that love them for their simplicity while still giving that wrapped look! The Wildbird slings are fantastic, though. Especially as baby gets older and wants to be side carried!

From someone who baby-wore all my babies (including TWINS), ring slings are a great option but can be hard on your shoulders, especially once they get heavier or if you have a bad shoulder/back. If you decide to try something else, wraps look intimidating but actually really easy. Especially a soft wrap like a move for younger babies. And a soft structure carrier like a Tula for older babies. So easy and great options if you decide you like babywearing.

I had a really awful pregnancy with HG and SPD but really struggled with the idea of not wanting to be ungrateful. On the plus side I absolutely LOVED giving birth!
