For Aim Assist Ease In is the percentage number kinda like window size where if its 0 percent no matter where your crosshair is, it will give you your aim assist that you selected. Thus, if you have 100% Aim Assist Ease In, is it like a large circle where it kinda gradually takes you to the center of your target almost maintaining your speed your crosshair would normally move without Aim assist?

Yes exactly right! I found tho that the higher the horizontal and vertical sensitivity is the harder it is to get consistent shots. Its a personal preference tho. So try its out maybe it could help you

In the 2018 I tried the linear ramp and I start to aim perfectly, but then, they add the new features for the settings and I don't know why, all go wrong. I am returned to play OW on console 1 weeks ago, because my PC is dead, and every day I tried a new setup 😅.

I play on ps4 but its not that big of a difference , both of the controllers use the same analog sticks. I think it just feels different because of the feel of the controller shape. Trust me tho linear is way more consistent.

I know its been about a month since this has came out -- I honestly didnt mind the old OW1 aim assist, i felt like I was def hitting more but then again I was with a low window so it didnt affect my aim too much. But since they updated the game engine for OW2 things felt off with my old sens, so this has def helped, ive kepted the 100/100 Horizontal and Vert but I only upped the aim ease in to 30, I want to note I play on a dualsense edge and there is little to no input delay for the controller. This helped alot appreciate it 🙏 For those wondering my old OW1 sens: 64/60 100 Str 20 Window 60 65 25 Widow/Ana scoped: 42-45 Ashe: 62-65

Linear ramp doesent work for me, i know that isnt that way but just feels like the aim assist is lower and i miss the target while moving, that overwatch linear ramp is so weird because i use linear ramp in literally every other game, fortnite,warzone,apex and every game that has linear ramp as an option, but just feels worst in overwatch somehow😂

Ease in isn't so bad but try to keep it as low as possible. If the aim assist feels too strong set it to like 20%

I’ll give it to you with linear ramp, in games you need smooth movement quick reactions (instincts) I play on PS5 I have this technique that gives my thumbs more leniency to boost my full duration turning which looks like I’m using a xim in disguise or MNK (mouse & keyboard) Also bindings are a very important factor for example you playing tracer and you wanna go for that stick with her pulse bomb however you’re look stick will not be usable cause you have to shift you’re thumb to press Y or Triangle which will make the ult completely useless same goes with shatter, EMP, Lucio beat, etc Resolution: 1. no aim assist - I use no aim assist to not only react quicker but I can get more assertive kills + movement (less walking backwards can walk the direction I walk to avoid assertive headshot) & during team fights Is a lot more balanced for me because I can track dps with my tank a lot more strict, & quicker can barely miss. - 2. Blink turn Obviously comparing to PC & console, PC has the quicker turn however when I started doing blink turning on console I felt more comfortable playing my characters and not seeing that slow sluggish movement I do full eye focus when I complete my duration of my turns I always lock onto an enemy or adjust my stick just an inch and doing this for approximately 2 & a half years I played against Xim players with my controller and not only kept up with them but got those assertive kills not only quicker but 10x better thanks to blink turning I’ve created myself. 3. Controller handling for smoother movement. - I can provide and explain add my battlenet: DHARAK#3822 If interested good video!

@@Crown_26 instead of 20% aim ease in, I put it on 15 and have the right stick deadzone inner on 0.05, if 100 100 feels slow changing the right stick outer deadzone might be a thing people might use since you get to full speed faster, if you need to change your left stick deadzone you might need a new controller 💀

I been top 500 and linear for me was the shit. I used to use 35 25 with 20 ease in and 90 smoothing. Tracking flawless aimbot sens I evolved to go higher 45 45

I'm still struggling to find the right settings with linear. One day, it feels perfect, and others it feels completely off. Sometimes it feels like they're shadow nerfing/buffing console aim assist or adjusting some numbers. I got to say I'm playing on a ds edge with a high rise kontrolfreek and I have 0 ease in because I use the ds edge "precise -2" curve, with is the equivalent of a faster dualzone with 3 zones. I'll try out your settings though.

In most games the strafe speed is considerably slower then a game like overwatch. The best advice i can give is just practice moving while shooting and use it as a way to aim instead of using it to dodge bullets. Like when you see a Phara flying left you strafe left. When she tries to shoot you dodge real quick and strafe the direction she is flying again. Hope this helps but practice and response time is key in this case.

I think you've got it wrong. So if you play on pc you won't have aim assist in comp obviously but if you play comp on console you will still have your aim assist. Regardless if there's a m and k user in the game. Im sure thats how it workS

In our data, we found many groups were crossplay groups between PC and console players. Also, if you had a group that was primarily console, but one of your friends was a PC player, you had to leave the PC player out to have a good experience. He said in the video that the Window size doesn’t matter but it does because if it’s too big when the enemy it’s moving you don’t have control of your crosshair coz you are giving the control to the Aim A. I use them for all the characters its easy to control with all heros as soon as you get use to them

I believe both I think it would benefit you on both because of it being linear ramp. It tends to be much more responsive

Dont be afraid to play around with aim ease in too if the aim assist seems too strong but i have trust that these will help you!

@@Crown_26 Ok so update: After taking a week longer to adjust than anticipated, I am now getting accusations of ximming. Should take that as a compliment lmao. I know there are plenty of real ximmers in GM but I didn't know my movements could look that similar.
