It’s okay to explore and just live life. I have land and a garden in Michigan but I’m going to live in Big Bear CA for a couple years and Michigan will wait.

Id like to hear more about what was bothering you and making you unhappy. Why did you think homesteading would make you happy? What about it was not fulfilling or solving the problem?

I still love farming, homesteading, and growing food that hasn't changed but my wife and I really needed to get back to Asia for a lot of reasons and it's a great opportunity for me to create content I'm excited about making. This is my full explanation though, kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqrVdpuroLWXjbs

@NaturesAlwaysRight I watched most of the video you linked. I feel very similar about almost everything you said about globalism, life, and so much of it is very relatable. I even thought myself, that I should do the same thing. Get a homestead and be self sufficient incase stuff hits the fan or just to be less fearful of societal collapse.

You’re an extraordinary engineer. You are extremely successful in your endeavors. I’ve sensed your change possibly due to being exhausted as you’re a one man operation in a large task homesteading world. I think you will come to appreciate your homesteading more but your desire to travel, take a break is really understandable. Many blessings to you. Your spiritual journey through Jesus Christ overshadows anything we do or become so I respect that quest. I live in Utah and yes I’ve mean a missionary in Japan for my church when I was younger for 2 years and it was the greatest time of my single life. Stay safe
