Just because there were corrupt religious leaders in the first century doesn’t mean they failed to distribute effectively. The error in the logic of giving for corrupt and ineffective leaders to administer is that the giving would not be for the Lord’s work, and therefore it’s not for the Lord. We need leaders who are proven to be effective administrators, that’s not optional.

Yes, there is going to be those who try to separate the people. But Jesus said “let them grow together until the harvest”. And the harvest is done by the holy angels, after Jesus throws in the cycle and starts the harvesting. These are personal beliefs and decisions that all must make, which is for or against Christ. Not group think, but the government will under take these actions. Jesus said they do these things because they don’t know me.

On Tuesdays lesson, Ryan Day mentioned that "not one Sabbath keeper died" in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, when over a million Sabbath keeping Jews died. That statement was not thought through carefully. It's so easy to make erroneous statements when under pressure and just talking without thinking. Otherwise, his lesson was excellent.

I would think all those who were obedient to fully following were saved alive. However, God will have people who kept Sabbath not make it to Heaven...because it's an entire life surrendered. Some will follow the law, but have no relationship with Jesus. Maybe that was some of the thinking he had going. I believe I have read that everyone who knew to flee Jerusalem was saved alive.

I went back and listened to Pastor Day and what He said first. Not one true believer in Christ died in the destruction of Jerusalem because they were able to escape. He then added that not one true Sabbath keeper died during the destruction.
