The Last Dybbuk

As the renowned Rabbi of Lashkovits prepares to cast out yet another demon from the soul of a possessed woman, a new follower of the Enlightenment challenges him to do it in the square before the synagogue on Yom Kippur, undertaking to receive the dybbuk himself. Who will prevail? This is an eyewitness account from 1865.
