Very valid information with many ideas for those like us who would like to take this path...... I hope you will soon be able to do another type of challenge, perhaps starting from 50 or in a format that is worth completing.....Thanks for all the content and material you provided with this challenge:)

@3:35 I know we got ourselves in a spot here by calling pre, flop, and turn but couldn’t we just surrender here? He’s getting 3:1 to call and he bet three streets. What will he fold? Is this always a shove?
@asimioso2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the vids sqweazel. I've noticed the same in zoom where theory is one thing but people dont bluff rivers in good spots and i believe the preflop ranges are alot tighter and nittier than you'd think for this format. So you get nit farmed alot by people just waiting for top 5-10% hands and taking advantage of people playing slightly looser although correctly.
@canequantico2 жыл бұрын
I think that making decent content AND profit at microstakes is impossible. I've played 700k hands my self starting from nl2 on stars and here are the 2 major facts that blew my mind: 1) I'm down dozens of stacks when all in preflop with QQ and AK 2) I got -5bb/100 when calling rivers There is only one way to play this meta: if they check, bet. If they bet small, raise. If they bet big, fold. If they go all in, fold top boat. Here's what you could do: challenges with specific extrem strategies. For example: i always wondered what would happen if you started stealing ATC and triple barrel 100% of the time. Would people adjust? This could be interesting content. Maybe. Or maybe could get boring after 5 hands.
@dogperson4322 жыл бұрын
Folding top boat might be a bit nitty lol
@hymnofashes2 жыл бұрын
One thing you can do is use a more detailed HUD. Especially defending against 3 and 4 bets, you NEED to know if you're supposed to fold queens or jam queens.
@tolkien112 жыл бұрын
Asking just out of curiosity. Is the reason you dont cut your big bluffs and hero calls on this challange because it may affect your game on your regular stakes? Cause i heard you say, i shouldn call this river bet. They dont bluff ever etc. Why didnt you apply this exploit?
@jakespiten81102 жыл бұрын
His logic is that enough players are stream sniping him, that if he starts over folding in spots people will start over bluffing.

The challenge was a good idea but hard to accomplish with your given constraints. I appreciated the effort. Would you consider doing a database analysis that compares your play at 10nl and your usual stakes to give people a better example of what adjustments show the most profit?

25nl 6max runs just fine...I just hear excuses from someone who doesn't realize they need to work on their game. You're supposed to be a pro, but you can't even beat small stakes (you barely beat 10nl). With this fail, I'm unsubscribing. I'm not here to watch a quitter, let alone a loser.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anything else you stated, but are you saying that 25NL 'Blitz' runs on ACR? It surely does not. Only 200, 50 and 10 do. But maybe you are referring to 25NL normal 6max... or another site altogether. This is just for clarification purposes, folks.
@ClamperDrew2 жыл бұрын
@@marshalmattdillon1 I'm talking about regular 6max. There's plenty of tables that run there and tons of fish at those bombpot tables, too.
@marshalmattdillon12 жыл бұрын
@@ClamperDrew Ah, thanks for clarifying. I think Weazel plays Blitz, primarily. But I really don't have an opinion, either way, on his skill level or game selection. I'm subscribed because I do feel like he has a lot of useful theoretical knowledge... but I do think this is also his downfall, to a certain degree. Speaking specifically in regards to these particular stakes. There are many instances in which he makes decisions based on GTO, as if he were playing against a GTO opponent. But the thing is, most of these players don't study the game like that. I guess I do have somewhat of an opinion here... lol. But yeah, studying GTO is extremely important. However, especially with Blitz, I think the key is studying population tendencies and keeping detailed notes on the regs. Because there are exploits that can be used over and over again against these player pools and general strategies to utilize to prevent getting in tough spots and maximize one's edges. Now with that being said, I'm still working on my game so I am far from an authority on these matters. Just some thoughts.

mark -- I know I might get banned off this channel for this comment, but I feel like this is something that needs to be said. by the 28:30 stamp, I can tell that you're coming from a good place of tough love, telling your viewers to take responsibility for their mistakes. Your viewers clearly respect you a lot, and when you're tilting and going through a downswing, they can only feel hopeless themselves since they know they're worse than you are. But by shitting on them and telling them they're bad, you crush their spirits and further reinforce a negative environment leaving them even more discouraged and insecure. now I'm not sure if you care about the influence you have on the people that follow you, but if by chance you do, this may be something you want to look into
@shwnmnstr772 жыл бұрын
if someone saying youre bad while youre learning crushes your spirit you ain't making it in poker anyways
@k-time2 жыл бұрын
Bro why are you saying his viewers know they are worse than him, at least I can beat 50NL 😂😂
@Weazel19912 жыл бұрын
Not gonna ban you for voicing a legitimate concern dude! I get your point but I just say what's on my mind. This isn't to discourage people, it's "tough love" if you like to make sure people take responsibility: i.e make sure they are playing good poker instead of blaming the rake and such on why they cannot beat a certain stake Of course I care about those who I influence, and my intention is not to offend, but my streams and videos aren't for everyone and I'm not going to change the way I am for the stream, mainly because I LOVE getting to be myself on stream. And I have to agree somewhat with ST's comment, if someone says you're bad (also indirectly, not even specifically mentioning certain people) crushes your spirits, maybe poker isn't for that person!
