I heard this on the radio again for the first time in a long time. I had Leukemia back in 2007/08 when I was still a young kid and my mom started to cry when she heard this song because it reminded her of another kid from the same cancer station whose funeral this was played at. I don‘t really remember him as a person but when she mentioned his name I just kind of remembered that he existed. It made me really sad tbh also because I‘ve forgotten him almost completely, Ig it gave me the feeling that not even the memories of the people that died will survive forever. I wish he could‘ve kept on living if that‘s what he wanted and I hope I‘ll at least remember his name

This song reminds me of a very specific day last winter. I visited my grandma, and just discovered this song on the way home. I remember which sidewalk I took, how cold it was, how dark everything was, how sad, depressed I was because of my lost relationship, and when I got back to my hometown by bus, my friends were awaiting me at the dorms. This song just brings me nostalgia, happiness and sadness at the same time. I’m not in my best era right now but looking back and seeing that from a depressed, unhappy person I just became who I am right now, and I could’ve not achieved my current state without my friends. This song is just magical.
