My favorite part is where the old Greek man tells about the conversation with his Turkish friend Mustafa about fishing bass. That's how normal everything is once Internet people can see behind the tags they receive the moment they are born

The Greeks never fought the Turks over Istanbul because they hated them. They fought over a city which started and remained a Greek-speaking city for over two millennia.
@hamoudhabibi19965 жыл бұрын
Ok, you dumbfucks listen it was called STIN PÓLI by the Greeks of Ottoman Empire more than 400 years, the locals almost never called it Constantinoúpoli, even during the Ottoman era, the city was called Konstantinniye, the Government of the Grand National Assembly changed its name to Istanbul due to two reasons 1-Because it was called Stin Poli/Istanbul by the locals 2-To leave behind the remindings of the Ottoman empire and it's Sultanate

So sad! Dear beautiful Greeks of this island, all surrounding islands, and of precious Constaninopoli, I pray for your joy, life, and many years with the light of Jesus Christ for you all! How wonderful to hear that the Greeks and Turks are friends on this island. I hope the friendship will extend to the re-opening of the Halki Theological School! Praying for this!

Sometimes both (Turks and greeks ) are very aggressive against each other via internet comments. Very sad story but main theme ; ''We never had any problems ,because Turks and Greeks grew up together... '' I hope Theological School of Halki ( Rum Ortodoks Ruhban Okulu ) will be open .. And islands return old good days. Turks - Greeks (Rum) - Armenians and jews live there together as brothers again.

Wake up to the fact that Constantinople does not exist except in your dreams. Your inferior complex is killing you. Try to forget that ottoman rule of your country for centuries. Be proud of your Greek heritage and let the Turks be proud of their ottoman heritage and all can live in peace.
