This brings back so many memories. My mom use to can EVERYTHING. We haven't explored beyond apple butter and a few attempts at pickles. Good video

Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to stop by! :) My great grandma, grandma, and mom were all canners with big gardens, so I am trying to do them proud. We have done dill and bread and butter pickles for quite awhile. This year we added salsa and pickled green tomatoes. I also made ground cherry/jalapeno jam, salted cantaloupe jam, and possum grape jelly this year. I feel pretty confident with fruit at this point. Our dilly beans and chow-chow were pretty unsuccessful this year, but at least we learned what not to do. LOL
