I watched Last Kingdom twice just because the 1st time i spent so much time looking at the hair, make up, clothing. I never take such careful work lightly. BBC spent a lot of money on these details. Is see the british studios have a great resource and group of talented people. Thanks for all the hard work.

Oh, The Eye Candy! There is a Lot of it in the show. But the show itself is fantastic and the BTS information and interviews with the cast are great. It's so nice to get to know a bit about the cast and crew. It's a very interesting show and the sets are wonderful.

Its a prop used in movies so they don't have to use a real horse. They use the fake horse then edit it with CGI to make it look real on the episode. A real horse would be severely injured doing that scene.

i thought they were great. it shows hes getting older - and probably not having a haircut so his hair looks lighter from the sun and damaged. which makes sense - it's realistic.

@@jillmayer9501 It is far from being realistic. Your hair turns grey or white not bleached blond. To me, it feels like they were trying too hard to be original.

@@rayoflightgeneral7988 his hair was nowhere near bleach blonde. I have brown hair but by the end of summer if I spend enough time at the beach its much lighter. And where the show is at Uhtred is in his 40s. Plenty of (fortunate) men don't have grey hair in their 40s
