The Last Kingdom should've been an historical fact?

Finally got around to watching the movie and all I can say is wow! I was absolutely amazed and truly in awe as to how you could go from such a solid show, understanding your core audience of mostly men, to totally throwing a massive monkey wrench into the works and expecting us to watch dudes do gay activities. What was that all about? Don't nobody want to see that. In addition, it should have been an entire season and was clearly rushed and condensed into under two hours. Overall, a massive letdown.

I'm so weird, I've spent so much time watching "The Last Kingdom" that I feel like I know these guys, so it's fun to watch this shit. I know that I don't know them, but these podcasts don't do much to disillusion me from that perspective. I love these guys, I love this show, I feel I always will. Nobody knows the future, but at 72 it's not a stretch to believe that this work of art will will be a favorite for the rest of my life. Thank you guys

I've followed "The last kingdom" since season 1, playing and replaying every episode until the next season happened. My favorite series EVER!!! I never wanted the series to end, but it did, then we had " SEVEN KINGS". I have watched all five seasons and the movie so many times I can't count. I suppose that if it ever leaves Netflix, I'll have to buy it outright. Thank you, Alexander, Mark, Arnas, and so many others. What a wonderful gift you've given me
