Apart from the cocaine/hooker 'incident' of 2002, Angus Deayton was the best presenter of this show. Some of the hosts did far worse than Angus....Boris Johnson, for example.

Those graphics on the side of the screen are seriously ugly and it makes the image difficult to focus on. Just leave black bars on the sides - audiences generally understand that old TV footage is shot 4:3 anyway. Plus, it makes the footage look more authentic.

People can be really funny about 'black bars' for some reason. This is at least better than stretching or cropping, or even that weird thing where they have the edges being just blurred parts of the main footage.
