Did I read that sign correctly -- they have lizards in the greenhouse? What fun! have you ever seen them?

Yes - although quite common in other parts of Europe, these Wall Lizards are rare in the UK with just a few fragile colonies. I've not seen them inside the greenhouses yet but have seen a couple outside.
