This song matches the Last of Us series so well! I gotta admit, the words always make me imagine a person protecting someone whose the cure like Ellie while they themselves are infected especially whenever I hear "If I'm not the cure, I'm the infection" . With it being a whole Ice King situation where the power can protect them both but they're also losing their humanity the more they use it. Then just to be sad, it's revealed using the cure will kill the infected person and they actually knew it from the beginning and hid it from the cure. Then one's like the resident Evil 7 rap tell more of their story from earlier on XD

@Sebastian Haney actually she didn't really feel that way. "I'm the infection" implies that she thinks it's her fault that the world is as bad as it is in the game. She never really seemed to blame herself for that, she blamed Joel. She just pretty much felt more or less meaningless after she learned the truth. "I was supposed to die in that hospital. My life would've f--king mattered, but you took that from me!"
