@@Amcsae Mm! We can’t play / listen to instrumental songs, the only permissible music in Islam are acapella (vocals), beatboxing, or duff, aka tambourine. It’s no problem for us since we do this out of desire to follow our religion, some still want to listen / play instruments, and that’s completely their choice! I hope this helped ^^

I know in Christianity there are differences between, say, Catholics, Lutherans, and Jehovah's Witnesses, and I imagine Islam also has sects that practice their faith with different customs/interpretations.

@@Amcsae I’m Sunni, and the other “branch” are shia people (mostly known in Iran), I’m not sure tho maybe there are more branches that I don’t know about, but I can tell you that Sunni is the dominant one, which are the ones you see almost everywhere, the difference is that we follow the same god, but have different teachings. Also yeah there are Muslim musicians, heck, everybody listens to music and play instruments now lol! Welp I guess people are trying to abandon the old teaching
