I like using this as a sidearm in my stealthy bow loadout. CT2, Agi1, SE3, Bow, BP. It's great to whip it out in close combat where the bow is weak

For my class I use the burst pistol as a primary with crafter 2 first aid training 2 and reviver 2 and it works great for me get close to 100 cans of supplies each game

For me, this gun is best used as a stealth weapon, I only tend to use it when I flank the enemy and i'm right up close to them.

I personally really like the burst pistol and I think the main reason to pick it as opposed to other pistols is its suppression value. The revolver's low fire rate when not fully upgraded leaves it incapable of effectively holding down multiple enemies, the 9mm low damage output also handicaps it in this regard, the shorty's low clip size does this, and the enforcer's accuracy actually becomes a hinderance in this regard as you can't just spray it and hope for the best. The burst pistol when used in hallways or closed off areas can hold enemies at bay much more effectively and gives you a crucial weapon when your team is getting knocked around. Using this to keep enemies pinned while your team regroups is a very good way to change the tide of battle and constantly moving around will leave your opponents flustered as you can continuously piss in there cornflakes without them being able to effectively retaliate without a shotgun or assault rifle. Lastly the burst pistol is by a wide margin the best way to counter spike boards as it lacks the cumbersome movement of a long arm and the precise nature of its pistol brethren, and I'd say I survive melee encounters maybe twice as much using the burst pistol. Just my two cents.

burst pistols is cheaper but some people prefer a semi-auto, hunting rifle or Full-auto( just to name a few) then the birst rifle but it doesn't mean they hate it

the burst pistol is a very good pistol for me. I used tactical shotgun, pistol zoom, jack of all trades with it. its optional to if you want lone wolf but I didn't use it because I find myself close to teams a lot with this build. Don't hope on getting stealth kills unless you have a few shivs. I used this loadout to run and gun.

One out of the topic question grant voegtle, how many times did you play through the sp campaign of the game? Because I just finished it for the 10th time this christmas ... but this time on the new ps4 :) The 60 fps is glorious.

I don't have a opinion on this gun yet, sometimes i do great, others a i'm just garbage with it, it's ammo is very scarce and inaccuracy (more than the Burst Rifle), shooting at distance enemy with no upgrades is only waste of ammo. But in close range is a monster!! That's what i think about this gun!

I've got to say... I'm LOVING the burst pistol and still new to it. I normally use Covert2, Lone2, Marathon, and Machete to go with it. It's... okay, i tried to make it specialized in close combat. If I have machete, i kinda do wanna put brawler into the load out but ... im at max points. I'll try your recommended loadouts but any other pointers with the burst pistol?

Here is my tiers for each weapon Tier A- Enforcer and Revolver -The Enforcer is buy and far the best pistol with its only down side beings its 1 loadout point. It is the most accurate pistol in the game, it has the fastest reload when fully upgraded in the game, it is the third highest damaging pistol in the game, mimics the 9mm in starting ammo clip size and fire rate sort of and is good for head shots. -The Revolver does have the slowest reload and the second slowest fire rate, but has more starting ammo then the semi auto(weird), second highest damage, has okay clip size for how much damage it's doing but is by and far the most flexible gun in the game if you don't count stealth into your class. Tier B- 9mm and Shorty -The 9mm is the fastest firing semi-automatic fire arm in the game, it has the second fastest reload animation and has good ammo like the enforcer, it is less accurate then the enforcer. The reason its not in the A tier is because it has one of the slowest time to kills of all the pistols but also has one of the highest. If your going for just body shots it is difficult, which makes it less appealing to new players( it was for me when i started) but if get just on headshot on an enemy and he's screwed no matter what because of it's fast rate of fire and it's potential of only needing two shots makes it lethal. -The Shorty is on the complete opposite of the spectrum compared to the 9mm. Slowest fire rate, highest damage, small clip size, great combo weapon, terrible ammo in reserve but like the revolver is an easy weapon to learn but hard to master Tier C- Burst Pistol -The Burst Pistol is not that good, it is probably the most difficult weapon to hit someone with: it kicks like a mule, it is tied with 9mm for damage but only does two bars of damage to the head, It is THE most un accurate bullet firing weapon in the WHOLE MULTIPLAYER, ammo is good but is also bad because you are almost always going to miss half your shots. Now you might be thinking that i am wrong about this, that I just don't use the gun enough, but i can tell you for a fact that i have and it is terrible. Some of you may have done well with it because apparently it downs in shortest amount of time if get two head shots and a body shot, but because of the recoil and how inaccurate it is it is a gamble if your going to hit anything. And any weapon that is a gamble to use shouldn't be used at all!!! *drops mic*

Hate how he calls the skills "boosters". Haha. They are skills man not boosters. Boosters are the upgrades, cheaper weapons, cheaper ammo, or more parts that you earn in a match. Those one time use items.

Guns with a high fire rate have a huge advantage because each hit causes the opponent to stagger. If they're wielding a single shot bruiser like a shotgun or frontier rifle, that stagger can mean life or death! I've had a lot of success with this gun.

This one is a fun load-out to run with. Note that it's not a stealthy one. Burst pistol No large fire arm Executioner 3 Gunslinger 2 Explosion expert 1/marathonrunner 1 Assault rifle (to bridge some distance when needed)

I recommend using the burst pistol to main and using frontier rifle to finish off downed enemy's in a easy shot if your presence is known to your enemy and the reverse if they dont know your there since its easier to use the frontiers slow firing speed when your not being shot at.

It's more reliable than the Tactical Shotgun. I've destroyed entire teams with the Burst Pistol. Although the limited ammo has fucked me a couple of times.

Love thuis gun. Use it as primary w. reviver 3, first aid training 3 and crafter 1. Healing teammates like this gives u insane pointes for ammo, armor & gun upgrade. Also when shotguns or shorty’s try too take you out you stand a good change (not so much with the revolver imo).

if you are loading a match sometimes it will say that the burst pistol has the quickest down and execute time of all the side arms. So technically it is the best close range weapon but it is harder to use then the 9 mm or the shorty pistols

If you're talking strictly close quarters, then this is only superior to the shorty if you can get head shots. GV didn't strictly cover this in the video but you can get a 1 burst down with 2HS and a body shot, and once it get the feel of the weapon it's not all that hard
