Great episode but short. Such a cliffhanger. The chemistry between both characters were so great. Joel finally letting his barrier down little by little with Ellie’s charm. Making him feel like a dad again.

Really loving your reactions to this - this episode got some flack for not being as good as the last episode, but they gotta realize that this episode is sooooooo important for Ellie and Joel's bonding process. (seems like a lot of people miss the fact that Joel stayed up ALL night keeping watch in the woods.) Keep it up, brother!

THE LAST OF US ist eines meiner absolut liebsten Videospiele und ich hätte gerne diese Serie gesehen, aber die ganzen "reaction channels" haben sie mir wirklich verdorben. Fast jeder Kanal, den ich abonniert habe, und auch viele andere, scheinen sich auf diese Serie zu stürzen! Viele davon haben nicht einmal die Spiele gespielt! Es gibt einfach ein Überangebot an "TLOU" Reaktionen! Und wenn man zuviel von EINER Sache konsumiert, verliert man die Lust daran. Es gibt doch noch soviel anderes, dass deswegen keine Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Ich schlage seit Monaten (bei manchen Kanälen seit Jahren) STAR TREK Reaktionen vor und nichts passiert. Aber kaum kommt TLOU raus, muss man das ja sofort schauen, weil es aktuell ist und es alle schauen. Letztes Jahr startete "Star Trek- Strange New Worlds" und war auch neu. Aber das hat keinen dieser Kanäle interessiert. Da hätte man auch sofort Reaction Videos machen können, aber nichts ist passiert!

Maybe it’s because I played the game but when Joel says “this is actually before my time” “it is a winner tho” I though it sounded weird for some reason like it had no emotion or he kinda sounded like he was obviously reading a script but great episode overall and I can’t take the leader seriously she’s just not intimidating

I don’t think she was supposed to be intimidating though? Like her background is clearly someone who was radicalized against FEDRA due to the death of her brother and led a group to overthrow them. So her characterization is someone who led a successful revolution and then kept going into retribution. I don’t think anyone was intimidated by Robespierre either, dude spent all his time in the bath. Her acting was great though, her speciality is American dialects and her Kansas accent is on point.
