The place looked alive. Even the black mould seemed to have legs and spread itself. Some of the moulds were working together to smother everything in the house. Beautiful decay. So glad you wore masks. Finally kids!!! lol. Much love you two. 🤗💗🤗💙🤗

That is a seriously mouldy house!! I’m sure there is a brand new breed of mushrooms growing in there!!! The giant rats obviously love it!! But mushrooms and rats aside I think this would have been a really lovely house in it’s day. All the old pictures were fascinating. Thank you Sam and Jess for another wonderful explore! Xx

I think you are right the mold is growing through the walls more than likely a gutter blockage so the water is filling the cavity as the roof is fine. Great place thanks for the insight to this great old house x

Love how nature takes over, mold likes unventilated spaces with poor air flow. Thats why builders put in air bricks under floor boards and why you have eaves ventilation in roofs. Best thing you can do is leave a few windows open so that condensation cant form so easily.

WOW amazing art on walls and ceilings furry art too like a legless animal. Stephen King should be writing a book about this house. I could almost see the furry mold biding it's time waiting for the dark ,to hide it's slithering down the walls and looking for rats or people to devour 😱 I'm glad my dog likes to sleep with me and he alerts me to strange noises in the night.👻 Sam and Jess thank you for that creepy adventure. I was taught as a kid in Mich. that the mist can be just as bad and the house was bult with subpar materials that could have allowed this to happen. alot of people here are unaware just how dangerous that kind of mold can be, so just be very careful. Love how you joke about screwing up terms and or phrases, others here get mad at themselves for it.
