I have the primer, booster and bonder but my clients lashes seem to fall out within 4 days I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong 😭
@LondonLashPro3 жыл бұрын
Hi lovely! Are you starting off with Cleanser? Cleanser is alcohol based so it works to break down all oils and makeup residue on the natural lashes before the use of Primer - Primer is water based so it adds moisture back into the lashes after the use of Cleanser. By only using Primer and Booster, it may be that the lashes are more damp than they should be so the glue is curing too rapidly, meaning that it is unable to form a super strong bond between the extension and the natural lash. This five step pre-treatment routine is amazing for retention, but if you're a beginner or you don't have a lot of clients, I'd recommend using Protein Remover Pads to cleanse the skin around the eyes and give the lashes an initial cleanse, followed by Cleanser to rid the lashes of oils and any leftover make-up residue, then finish off with Primer to reintroduce moisture. As you have Booster, finish off with this and then draw your lash map onto the eyepatches to give it a chance to start working. Once you start applying your extensions you should see a big difference in the way that the extensions behave, and you'll see a big increase in retention time! If you DON'T see an increase in retention, reassess the glue you're using - it is suitable for you? It's often the case that low retention time comes down to the glue being a bit too rapid to form a strong bond, so it might be worth just looking at whether a more gradually drying glue might be better for you and your room conditions (temperature and humidity levels) I really hope this helps! Would you use protein pads if they are coming for an infill?
@LondonLashPro3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Protein pads can still be used during an infill but you should avoid the glue bonds as the fibres from the pad can get stuck around the glue bonds - the protein pads can be used to cleanse the skin around the eyes to make sure your eyepatches and/or tape will stay in place. To cleanse the eyelid, wrap the pad around your finger tip to cleanse along the eyelid, or for an even closer clean take a lip applicator cleansing brush or micro brush and press it into the protein pads - they have lots and lots of product in them so you'll be able to get even more use out of them by doing this! Lip Applicator brushes can be found here: bit.ly/Lip-Applicator-Brushes Micro Brushes are here: bit.ly/Micro-Brushes Laura @ LLP x

Can I please ask you do you use primer on every client? Or just on ones that have very oily skin? Thank you
@LondonLashPro3 жыл бұрын
Hi lovely! Cleanser and Primer should be used on absolutely every client - Booster is going to make the most difference on those with oilier skin/hairs or very smooth/shiny hairs, but can still be used on everyone! 😘💖

Hi do you dry the lashes before you start lashing after the booster
@LondonLashPro3 жыл бұрын
You can give them a quick fan with a Mini Cooli, but if you draw your lash map after applying the Booster it will give it enough time to dry before you start your lash application 🥰

Your cleanser looks so different than what I'm used to seeing (foam). Do you not wash the cleanser off? You apply primer, don't rinse it off, then apply cleanser, don't rinse it off, then apply booster and don't rinse that off either?
@LondonLashPro3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shannon, during the pre-treatment there were 2 cleansers used: 1. Foamy shampoo - rinsed it with warm water (2:51) 2. Alcohol based Cleanser to degrease the lashes (4:17) - not rinsed, but left to dry out. After that, we applied Primer to restore the moisture PH of natural lashes. And then the Booster. None of the products were rinsed with water, but rather left to dry out to keep the lashes clean and moist before the application. I hope this helps :)

Do you dry the lashes with a fan after the cleanser , before the primer?
@LondonLashPro2 жыл бұрын
Nope! We go straight in with Primer after Cleanser! Once we've applied Cleanser and Primer (and Booster, finally) we draw our lash map onto the eyepatches to give the lashes time to dry before we start applying the extensions 🥰

So if the temperature is around 28-30 and humidity around 50 ish what to do? Coz yep we have glue which good with 50 ish humidity but what about temperature. It's look like I can't make the right surroundings
@LondonLashPro3 жыл бұрын
In all honesty that temperature is quite high, so anything you can do to lower it would be brilliant! Picking the right glue for this will essentially come down to your placement speed - do you know how long it takes you to place your extension/fan after dipping it into the glue? If your placement speed is 1 second, with a temperature this high and quite a nice humidity level, I'd recommend dropping down to a glue that's advertised as having a 1-2 second drying time, as the added temperature will speed it up a bit. If your placement speed is half a second then opt for a glue with a 1 second drying time, and so on. It might seem like extra work to actually time your dip-to-placement time but knowing this will help you so much to find the ideal glue!
