Pro-tip for catching Tapu Fini. After Tapu Fini has used aqua-ring burn it with will-o-wisp and then false-swipe it to 1HP. Aqua-rings HP restoration takes place before the burns damage, therefore it will heal and then the burn will reduce it back to 1HP and you can fling pokéballs as you see fit, burn is also a status effect and therefore increases catch rate. Happy hunting!

Just letting people know, you can get a Carbink on the first island. Go to the clearing at Ten Carat Hill, then up the hill on the far right side. In the farthest back patch you can encounter Carbink

While I was sos-battling to find a Lucario, I actually found a shiny Riolu after only 34 encounters! It was my first ever shiny, and I've been playing pokemon since Diamond and Pearl, so I've been very unlucky. One month later, in the exact same patch of grass, I encountered a shiny Raticate! Too bad I'll never use it though

I have three Lapras that came to me through Poke Pelago so that works if you don't want to try to wait for it to spawn.

For Lapras i find it easier to wait for it in Poke pelago, its pretty common there

What's funny is that you can have oras for castform and x and y for lapras and use Pokémon bank and transfer them over

btw get vaporeon with scald work up echoed voice and aqua ring for tapu fini becauss if u have water absorb and u already put aqua ring u will absorb all dmg and all u need tp do is work up 5 times then use scald to burn it then have a pokemon with false swipe and its aqua willheal but the burn will counter it took me atleast ultra balls doing that and it needs to be level 48 or 49

So time to finish my team! Recap time: bagon, kangaskan, mareenie, possibly goomy delumese, Lapras, jangmo-o, dratini and wimped, but obviously can only have 6, so my team for this playthrough is going to be....... Bagon (being the rarest) Kangaskan (from early games always wondered if I could make it viable) Mareenie (rare and typing) Wimpod, because, why not Jangmo-o (caught first playthrough but didn't use Dx) And I'll probably stick with my underused starter decidueye, yes I know incinaroar is better, but played that, wanted a challenge, plus needed a grass typing to round it off XD, was tempted by dratini as to how rare it is, but I ALWAYS use dragonite, and it's a bit late in the game, jangmo-o was pushing it as was but couldn't say no Should be fun

I've completed the Pokedex, it wasn't that hard. The only Pokemon I had a difficult time getting was Celesteela via GTS, After two days of trying to get one I finally traded one of my Kartana for a Celesteela. I spent most of the day working towards this. After 292 hours of playtime I can move on to something else haha.
