Speaking of China being slept on, uniroincally I really encourage people to play the tree. You get the early game of "US and Russia Greatest Hits collection", you get a few unique toys along the way "Like Type 62 for what if T-54 but small" and "What if we just stuck a bigger gun on the PT-76" and "Objectively the best T-34 in the game because its just a T-34-85 but with a DSHK on top" It's a pretty great tree to grind there's really not too many stinkers in there. M41D is bad but I weirdly have fun with it.

I think the game has bug in which it will register the hit, but sometimes fails to calculate penetration and just reports no penetration. It's like a ghost shell, but it shows the impact. I expect everyone has experienced it at some point.

The first half is obtaining the skills, like combat maneuvers in planes, angling and positioning in tanks, shot placement, energy fighting, etc. But the second half that makes ANY of that skill actually useful is pure memorization. Knowing what your vehicle can do and what the enemy vehicle can do is VITAL to being able to effectively engage and destroy their vehicle. War Thunder is as much a tactical vehicular combat game as it is a memorization game.

The reason I'm interested in this vehicle is actually its 120mm gun that we also encounter on "fremium" chinese tank with 4 ATGM tubes. That tank could have been the first true chinese MBT and given that ATGMs matched the caliber of the gun, they likely were developing barrel launched capability. The chassis for this SPG is also not bad, being used for wide variety of SPGs(WT alone has 155, 120 and 130mm iterations), but it's not really interesting.

The placement of the turret is great, having it be at the rear allows you to poke around corners and shoot without having your rear exposed and because you're pointed forwards you can get into cover quickly!
