To me that lawn looks brilliant but if your a professional then again different story to the average joe doing their home lawn. And I’m saying that from neighbour’s asking why I’m covering my lawn with fleece after I completely covered it with a seed and compost brushed in 😂 Don’t know where I got that idea but by two weeks looking nice when I took the fleece off. 😁

I think I have the products because I ordered orbit, slo grow, dans magic etc. I know you like people to learn their own way, however for me it would be useful to have a week by week guideline on what to put on so I give mine the best chance. Really keen watcher of the channel. I’ve watched loads of the videos, as I want to do a renovation of my lawn. I’ve brought all the recommended products from your website, the Barenbrug seed, I’ve scalped, scarified, put the seed down, levelled it with 70/30 mix and then fleeced it. I’m a week in today, and zero seed has come up. No shoots. Nothing ☹️. Should I be concerned yet?
@DanielHibbertLawnExpert4 ай бұрын
No its been cold i did steves last week and nothing as yet either and with 70/30 it will take longer, better with the compost as a top cover as holds more water than sand

Thanks Dan, really appreciate the reply mate and reassurance 😅. I’ve noticed I’ve got a lot of seed on top of the sand. It must have been when I was spreading the top dressing around with the broom, not sure if that will affect anything? Do I just continue to water daily and carry on doing what ive been doing? Hi Dan, loving the videos. Gutted for Bolton, but just a chance to enjoy next season winning most of your games again! Quick question - I’ve just done an overseed on a very mossy lawn after scarifying. I’ve gone over with stellar, sow pro, grace and orbit about 3 weeks ago and had some great results! I’ve got a load of weeds on the lawn (should have spayed weed killer in Feb or something) but I’m gonna follow your advice from this video shortly. The question I had is that I have some pretty bare patches in the lawn (next to some of the paths, under a big beech tree) - should I overseed again while I’m at it on these bare patches? Use the seed slotter and then just repeat exactly as I did before? Or just keep going with the products and it’ll fill in over time? Thanks!
@DanielHibbertLawnExpert4 ай бұрын
Well in the shade or under trees these wont get as wet when it rains so you have to pay more attention to these areas , as the seed may of come through then perished, if it looks like theres nothing there then its prob gunna need re doing in those areas, the products will only work on grass thats there wont make grass grow if their aint any
@corinbeck29884 ай бұрын
@@DanielHibbertLawnExpertthere is some grass, it’s just pretty thin. Especially compared to the rest of the lawn. I just don’t feel like the individual plants will thicken up enough, thanks for the advice. I didn’t use a wetting agent last time so I’ll def be doing that this time round.
