This has been by far the best thing that has happened this year. Ric thank you for being the fearless leader and annoying the hell out of everyone to get them back for this. You don't know how much this has been for all our sanity. Marc you and Leigh (TG) are still our childhood idols like 20 years ago. Lana like Ric says is the voice of reason even after all these years. So good to see Graham , Eva and Eric as well albeit cameos. You guys are amazing. Please pretty please come back next year. Hope the show comes back... So needed in this day and age. Speaking of past embarrassing moments... Some friends and I submitted a video to the show back in the early 2000's for a Lion Red video competition. We were so proud of what we did, and gutted when it never aired. We emailed the show and Rick replied they couldn't play it, because we used copyright music. I now (imagining just how bad it probably actually was) thank the heavens it never aired and hope the tape was carted off to a landfill lol.

The best collective energy of the whole season, I've enjoyed the full year but this one was proof that there's still life in the Auld Guard. Side note, Lana is the Donald Trump of NZ television. Hear me out... she has been adjacent or involved with some ridiculous antics but nothing sticks to her. I remember crying watching that last episode.. I went to boarding school and we were 6 form so our curfew was 10:00pm but the show finished at 10:30pm and I was gutted that the house master wouldn't let us stay up to watch it. We got Leigh to come judge our house talent quest some how. Funniest night of our lives. We'd be cracking up at Leigh just doing his serious face and the 3rd and 4th formers thought we were bonkers cause they had no idea what we were laughing at 😅 There's no way this is the last show 😡
