The LAST sim update of 2024 is the BIGGEST

I still use MSFS 2004 and this new iteration is light years ahead of my antique FS9 platform. Can't wait to upgrade my desktop computer so I can run MSFS 2024 with its ultra-realistic ground scenery.

Good Plan waiting for FS2024. I use FS2020 and it is a bit hit-and-miss when it comes to realism and performance as you may have heard.

I just upgraded to an I-9 12900k and a 4080 SUPER from an i7 11700k and a 3080. Now, I'm basically running everything Ultra at between 85 and 100 FPS. It is absolutely mind-blowing how beautifully smooth the sim is now.

@@xINTENSORx 85 to 100 fps frame rates are astonishing, considering that anything above consistently 30fps will have minimal image stutter. May I ask how much you shelled out for your new computer system?

@@riverbankfisher I’ll probably have around $6000 wrapped up in my computer. I picked up the Asus pro art 4080 super for $990.

Sim Update 15 (not 16) is the last from what I have read.

If I am correct, I believe SU15 is the last sim update of the year, but MSFS2020 will keep receiving the same world updates/city updates as FS2024, just adapted to 2020. Could be wrong, but i think this is the case.

I’m almost more worried then happy for this update. Hopefully it will truest “fix” things and not break 100+ more things and then Microsoft just say, “oh well, buy 2024. We don’t support 2020 anymore.”

PMDG is working on their 777 for PC and then Xbox. It will be releasing in the coming weeks hopefully.

When I first got MSFS it was terrible in VR then we had an update and it was wonderful in VR ever since then it's got worse again. THAT'S MY EXPERIENCE.
