When I got to this city ingame, I stayed instead of continuing the story. And just went looking for treasures, finding bargains....one of the best singple player RPG cities I've been in so far :)

I swear this song really puts a tear in my eye. It literally makes me feel like I'm in a safe haven after the troubles I go through and I can just enjoy the amazing scenery. If only Sakaguchi can make a sequel to this game!

Oh yes, the city of Lazilus, a beautiful, medieval city, marked with many inhabitants and beautiful places :) I go around like at in the game in town, but the music later annoying me from the city a little bit. But hey, the atmosphere changes with the time and afterwards it is serious (count Arganan is to blame!)

@Deffpoised Really? I thought since this was Hironobu Sakaguchi's (creator of Final Fantasy) first time directing a game since Final Fantasy V and has music by Nobuo Uematsu, I thought other people would think of that.

Oh no, please! Don't even compare this game to any of the shit Square Enix is doing. The Last Story may not be the best RPG ever (and especially not the best game), but at least you can see that they put a lot of passion into it. As for Square Enix? Nope. They just care about sales. Since their fusion in 2003 they have yet to make a game that satisfies me, unlike old Squaresoft and Enix, who made a lot of great games.

I agree with you on TWEWY. Actually it's the only really great game of Square Enix I can think of that is not a port or a remake. I don't agree on Dragon Quest, though. Dragon Quest is the exact opposite of Final Fantasy in my opinion. FF has the problem that Square Enix experimented with it and changed it too much, whereas DQ has the problem that it's stayed almost the same for decadeds. For example those ugly sound effects or the overall style. But yeah, that's just my opinion.

@Manlyman47 i've listened whole soundtrack and it's kinda dissapointing. There are very few memorable tracks, unlike for example Chrono Cross ost by Mitsuda, where almost all music was inspiring masterpiece. It simply on a whole different level.
