Loved them, but my waders starting leaking a couple of wears in, and the bottoms of my boots started separating too 🥲 We have to exchange them. Just goes to show how good of quality the Simms brand is compared to the White River! 😊 #BassPro #Simms

Generally speaking when a rod breaks like that it is because at some point your hook clipped the rod on a cast, it doesn't take much to create a weak point. I'm sure you will get a replacement from the company. Nice fish, too bad you didn't get one big enough to give your reel a workout. That is a nice reel for sure.

Thanks for watching David! That's quite interesting to hear. If that's the case, that's crazy how a small little mistake can be so costly! The fly I have been using hardly weighs anything but I guess the force from the line would make up for that I suppose. I got a replacement for now but interested to see what they're going to do for me!
