Another big, big difference that I think it's safe to mention is that in the comic, all of The Boys have already taken Compound V as a way to even the playing field with the supes. Even Mother's Milk (who also has a WAY different reason for being named that, don't ask). And Frenchie has no problem with killing people. And Kimiko has no problem with having powers. Honestly, the show's so different from the comic now that you could read the comic and get a totally different experience.

(The one speedster who died, if he had the same durability of A-Train means he's more durable than regular humans but not as durable as someone like Annie) However I took that to mean that he would kill her if she even tried to do it. From that up close range, homelander would feel it before it take complete effect and he'd quickly kill her. We saw in S2E1 that they get a nose bleed before their heads explode, and in this season we saw her friend realize what was about to happen due to the nose bleed and he had enough time to attack her before she killed him.

I feel like the thing Butcher doesn't realize is that even if they do manage to kill all supes, they won't go away. Compound V was pandora's box, it was opened, and now there's no way to close it. It would be impossible to destroy every trace of it, and even if you did, it's still widely known. Everyone and their mother knows that a drug to give you super powers exists. It'd only be a matter of time until someone else recreated it or something like it. Realistically, the best thing to do would be to probably give EVERYONE Compound V. Go My Hero Academia with it. Syndrome. When everyone's a supe, no one will be.

However bad Soldier Boy might be once he's "king of the hill", I definitely don't think he'd be as bad as Homelander tho. Homelander was created and raised from infancy as an experiment in a lab, a product, with no parents, friends or regular emotional attachments, which I think is a big part of why he's the way he is. Soldier Boy on the other hand (from what we've seen so far) just seems to be a bit of a dick cause he's famous, but not nearly as sociopathic as Homelander.
