111111111 this helps me a lot. I am writing everything down fam. I learn through visual explanations only which is why it is taking me so long to learn and make profit. Today was my first profit on an obtion Kenan I am super excited it wasn’t much but it was everything. Because learning why and I made profit is more important to me than just getting in an making a profit and not knowing why. So I can know what I am doing. I got a $25 put obtion and finally understood what I had bought it was one contract when I was 20% up I got out like you suggest, don’t get greedy and I followed the rules and felt soooo proud of myself it was like the same feeling as if I won $1000 bucks because I know if I get the concept I’m already winning because it is just the beginning of making money. 10% can happen just from people taking profits. Wouldn't 15% or 20% be better. Then when up 25% or more. Do 12% to 15% trailing stop?

I want to ask question about trailing stop loss, in the first example u showed that setting 10% drop, would it drive from current market price which was 670? I mean if it takes floating market price then it wont work.if it does not take starting price once u set up the stop trailing price. I hope u got the pint what i meant.

I didn’t know much about trailing stop and how it works, but I feel I know much more about how it works and how it differentiates from stop loss. It seems the trailing loss is automatic and the stop loss is manual.

What if the drop in percentage that you're set for, happens after hours or premarket? Will the sale trigger automatically at market open?

I will place trades with a 5% trailing stop. I have been knocked out of the trades when the market price and the bid were not at the stop price. I am told that there are bids lower down the chain that are triggering this. I don't understand why this would happen. It would suggest to me that someone could put a 1 cent bid out for any stock and then trigger everyone's trailing stop. Why am I getting triggered? What can I do besides sit at my computer and follow the market price? Any insight would be appreciated.
