I went through a horrible toxic situation w/a guy who was on drugs and he treated me horrible (I didn't know he was on drugs for 2.5 yrs) so to see such a beautiful connection makes me believe it's still out there...don't know if I will ever find that again but it warms my heart to know there are still good and kindhearted men out there.

Bruce, Jana was what the universe knew you needed. For those of us who have had our hearts pummeled in the past it is easy to look the other way when opportunity knocks...I'm glad you answered the door and found a great friendship with Jana. I'm glad I was able to meet her...she is a beautiful soul. I wish I could give you a big hug- you got this kid...and the early videos are not crap-they are just learning opportunities...LOL

As a local, the video gives the impression that this is a huge trip when in fact, Campbell River to Nanaimo is only an hour and a half. Can't blame you for extending the time with the lady friend. Heartfelt. The cinematic music makes the short trip captivating👍

Yeah, Campbell River to Nanaimo is a commute I do twice a week. I have an EV so it’s no biggie. Looks like you’re parked close to where I live. It’s a beautiful city.

I moved to Campbell River 7 years ago from Vancouver, best move I ever made. Love it here. Although it has gotten busier since 2017. It use to be when I moved here hardly any traffic at all. To now there being quite a bit. Sad to see because I love small places. But I guess that's to be expected, but I get your feelings about it here. Best place I ever lived. Safe travels.

Our island does have spectacular places to visit and amazing scenery. Orcas have been spotted close to shore round Victoria, you may luck out and see one. It is a great drive down. My bit of advice would be to put the plan into place between now and the end of the year. Grind each day, writing down new ideas, speaking with your vanlife friends/family/peers, experimenting, then making changes as you see fit. Big things will come for you in '25, Bruce.
