Can't let that night go. Can't blame them. The night didn't end with "I Shall Be Released," but you have to admit that was a climax to end the film on. Nothing against this coda, other than that.

I only wish they could have had how they decided to end it on videotape. It certainly wouldn't have been Neil Young who decided it 😍
@leahflower99242 жыл бұрын
He should've made them all play cowgirl in the sand with like an extra 10 minute solo lol
@centrejoisir2 жыл бұрын
@@leahflower9924 it was the kind of riff he was going with 😃 love Levon Helm looking around wondering what to do and Neil Young kicked it up, and Stephen Stills came out ! God to have been there and seen Neil Diamond swing his guitar and say hi ladies I'm here, that was sexy !

I don't care if Robbie Robertson is an egomaniacal twit...he is the coolest person on earth this day...
@hannejeppesen180911 ай бұрын
There is a lot of misception and misinformation about Robbie, som based on Levon's book, which only gives his view. If you read Barney Hopkyns biograhpy of The Band you will get a more balanced view. Did Robbie make more money than the rest of the guys, seems so, but he also did more, writing the songs, taking care of the business aspect, because the others were either to stoned (Richard, Levon and Rick) and didn't have an interest in that part of it, and Garth who was introvertd and didn't like talking to people.I love all The Band members, they all contributed something, but Rick is my favorite along with Robbie.

Oh yes he was!! So was Dylan, when he was singing forever young, he had a big blob of coke hanging from his nose, they cut it out post production

Some very cool licks and tone from a very wired Neil Young. Somewhat ironically, Neils edict to all his crew and employees these days is "If you're wired, you're fired". The reason Clapton split is because he obviously wasn't mic'ed up to be in the mix. You can see him playing but no sound is coming from his guitar.
@robertsloan92845 жыл бұрын
Whyy?? Who's bright idea was that? He was definitely the best guitarist on stage.
