My Life overlaps with the lives of some of these men, makes it seem like not so long ago, its a pity as a race we have seemingly learnt so little in the intervening years, as we still have wars, famines and depressions for the same reasons. And still need brave men and woman.

@@dp-sr1fd I don't think he was alive. These natives were enemies of the United States. They fought and killed United States soldiers. They should not be memorialized and any statues or memorials to them should be immediately moved to a museum or storage with confederate monuments.

The Sioux, and Cheyennes fought for their way of life and for the right to live of their women and children. For what did the white men fight at the "little Big Horn"? Custer would have had yet another massacre had he won the battle.

@@reuterromain1054 Custer fought for nothing more than fame and the white man's greed (Gold). Lives of the Natives meant nothing to him or the government. And still remains so to this date and the foreseeable future.
