@@The_Irish_Fox high sweep wings have more structural strength then a low sweep wing. Edit correction high sweep wings are better at distributing load then low sweep wings

@@justakid113 The max wing loading of the SU-17 with ordinance is sub 8Gs, it can pull 14 with bombs. Yeah no thats not how wing sweep works either.

Treat it like a G.91 the wings are always ripping when above 900, so slow it down to 800 for the big maneuvers and don't commit to losing your speed I suppose.

seems im going to have to re-literate that this is a ***MEME VIDEO*** Yes i know pulling continues g's will overload the wings Yes i know rolling and pulling g's induces more stress Yes i know using negative g's will help negate this the F8 has a wacky flight model which allows to pull some extreme g's very easily and quickly leading to shenanigans :3

As a tip, when pulling hard, its better to do so with keys than with mouse, because the instructor puts in rudder input sometimes and breaks the plane, had it happen on my F5C.

The flight model on this plane is so broken. Pray you never pop the airbrake and turn at the same time. The wings will literally unscrew themselves from the airframe.

@Tofu 3 it didn't need a nerf it needed putting to 10.0 Edit: it only sucked before because the missiles were beyond useless and the FM was wrong but it can do well at 10.7 even though there is a bug with red tops but it's still workable

Here’s is a tip for the F8 pop combat flaps when you do you won’t rips it won’t let you pull more that 9G so you won’t rip and I personally go to high alt and BnZ

If you want a real wing ripper get the vautours, 8g overload. The F-8 crusader just overloads at 13-14 g's. Whenever you see that "Extreme Overload 12G's" maybe let off the elevator? :)

@@starrynights467 yes in a game... but in real life you cannot pull more than 9g which is also an extreme because of human, not the plane... normal humans not fighter pilots passout by 4g so plane is totally fine if it can pull 13g because humans can not. And also you can do a -3g,-4,-5g in war thunder which in real life your head would explode.

It’s not fair that this plane is closer to a real life G limit (which in real life is closer to 6.5 Gs) while the other planes it fights have 2-3 times the G limit of it. Either they all need to be brought down to historical accuracy or they fix this so it can keep up with the huge su17 that can pull like 15 gs

It has the issue that it racks up Gs it shouldn’t be even near when turning. It goes to an unusually high level of Gs at 900 to 1000km/h. It does so so quickly you can’t correct for it. It shouldn’t be showing those kinds of Gs.

But it does have an issue. The Su17 and other top tiers can pull 15 Gs and be fine. That’s not even close to real life G limitations. So they either make this plane competitive with those fake limits or they bring all the other planes down to historical limits.
