I’m. Canadian and I also cried that day. I could not believe what I was watching on television. As looked at my baby son I wondered what that would mean to the world. I just wish that today’s president had the courage to treat the world with such dedication and compassion as President Kennedy had. We sure could use a President Kennedy today.

I was nine-years-old, laying on our couch, horribly ill with Measles and listening to the TV when the Special Report came across the news about JFK's assassination. I didn't fully understand what I was hearing and I'm not sure if that was because of my illness or my innocent youth. At about that same time, I heard tires squealing outside, then a big thump and a car engine running outside our house. I got up and squinted out our picture window where I saw a car in the middle of our front yard with a woman sobbing behind the wheel. She had heard that same announcement on the radio and was so shocked and upset, she had lost control of her car. In the days and weeks that followed, I learned much more about our young president and his family, including Caroline, "John-John," and Jacqueline. Less than five years later, I was mourning the loss of RFK. It sickens me to listen to RFK Jr. evoke the names of his father and uncles, trying to favorably elevate himself into the hearts of the American people. KINO (Kennedy In Name Only) should be his nickname and his confirmation should be resoundingly denied.

Perhaps you should invest in better education to understand what is happening to the USA at the moment. If you can't understand how dangerous it is to put people without experience, knowledge and understanding in high office positions you shouldn't judge about others with more knowledge than you have. Sorry to tell you that. And this is *not* about republicans or democrats. It is about basic human rights. It is about if you want to follow your constitution and laws, if you will follow the dream of American freedom or if you put every of your principles away just to do everything Trump wants. I give you a few examples: If you care for veterans you should ensure they don't loose every social security. If you care for babies to live you should ensure they don't strip away supplements for pregnant women and financal help for births in hospitals. Because this will hurt those innocent babies. They can't develop healthy without the right diet for their mothers during pregnancies. If you believe in the bible and god you should ask yourself why you think it is okay for Trump and his people to do exactly the opposite of what is in the ten commandments. I'm from Germany and I really wonder if you're so blinded by Trump or so uneducated that you can't see he is playing Hitler 2.0 and destroying everything what seems to make y'all proud of America. He is calling your home bad. He is constantly lying to you. And you're defending him instead of even trying to learn if he's right or wrong. That is not critical thinking, that is blindly following the leader. We've been there, done that. It is dangerous for everyone you love and care.
