A lot of times I feel alone and ashamed of myself because I always see individuals our age, younger, or older on social media and in daily life having great careers, going to colleges, married, kids, etc. being "successful" in life. Meanwhile I'm a unemployed, never married, no kids, 24 year old still living in my moms house, that dropped out of college trying to still find my career path.. But your videos have made me take a breather and to stop being so hard on myself every single day. To realize that everyone has their own timeline!💕 By the way, it's always been a dream of mine to live in Alaska. hopefully one day!

This felt like a reflective documentary if that's a thing! I am defs learning and growing alongside you. I thought when I graduated I wanted to do a coding bootcamp too, but I'm kinda glad I didn't. Now I'm trying to make videos again without quitting like in the past and also start a business at some point.I loooove journaling sm, and yes as an introvert it's so good to do rather than not fully processing it or letting it stew in your head since we don't always talk with people about those things we're thinking. Your content and vulnerability is soo helpful as always!

that’s a great reason to journal! I’ve been also overwhelmed with thoughts in my head and have started using my notes to just type out what I’m feeling in bullet points bc it’s so hard for me to explain in words. I’m also an introvert, so I think it might be worth me looking into journaling!

Thank you so much for this comment Nicole. I definitely felt like it was my 2020 reflective documentary after sifting through all this unused footage I had in my computer. I’m still going to try to make my video on the pros / cons of my coding bootcamp experience. But for now I’m just going to do a little self teaching when I have time. Thanks again for this. It really means a lot to me!

Watching you cry made me tear up too. The most important quality you can find in a human being is empathy - you have that. You've grown so much as a human being. You picked yourself with productivity too (workshops, coding, business ventures) and you're doing your best for people around. A piece of advice I give to people is "value your relationships". You won't not be able to meet that best friend all the time when you graduate / move. So make sure you spend enough time with them now to have no regrets in the future. Hindsight is 2021, but you'll know a decision was right if you have no regrets. (reading this again, I sound like an old man - I'm 25 lol) I have a job. I moved in with family now. I have some money. But I was depressed myself too - combination of a lot of things (I can talk about this forever. But I'll keep it short for now. Maybe I'll elaborate later). I'm back now. Watching you is like a breath of fresh air for me. You're doing just fine. Just keep you-ing it. The way you're going - I'm excited for your future. Hugs!

Been watching you since you first got to USC (I'm only a year younger than you) but ever since I've seen you do tremendous things that I would've never even thought were possible and you've changed my college career tremendously. Thank you so much for making this video! A)I feel like this is real life. It’s not all highs but also lows but that’s authentic and this year more than ever we need more people on social media to show the reality of everyday life. Seeing shopping hauls and vacations isn’t life giving in fact sometimes it makes me sad to think back to 2019 when there was more job security and freedom to travel. This year more than ever I want to not feel alone but relate! B)I’m also inspired to do sober February because I want to practice mindfulness and work on the connection between the body and mental health and developing healthier habits! I continued to see your growth and am inspired to seek wellness because of the content you put out! I’m so proud of the work your doing and the fact that it’s not about numbers and the algorithm for you because this is meaningful work!

Thank you so much Stacy! I always appreciate your comments. And I would encourage everyone to try a sober month! It gives so much insight into your habits and coping mechanisms. I've been watching since freshman year of high school. Now, I'm a nursing major in college. Thank you for being a part of my growing up. As an introvert in high school, your vlogs helped me understand friendships & social media in general. I am proud of where you are in life because gurl, you LIVED. Sister I feel that message, in my heart and my soul!! Continue truckin on your own unique path, I’m looking forward to seeing more from you :)

Hi Annemarie! I've been a quiet viewer for awhile now - found ya when I was at UW and you were at USC. Just want to cheers (with a mocktail ;)) to your message(s) in this beautiful video...and want you to know that I hardcore relate to so much of what you share here on KZbin. At the risk of sounding creepy, I've always felt like we were long lost friends or friends in another life because of how similar our thoughts/preferences/paths are and have been. I also wouldn't be surprised if we had mutual friends lol. Anyway...I hope our paths cross someday, and know that I, an admiring stranger, am cheering you on. Thanks for your courage, honesty, and care. Hope 2021 brings adventure, laughter, and nourishing relationships! 💕

When life throws a curve, the internet levels the playing field regardless of socio econ status. That's our sandbox. You build and you create. You don't have to prove anything to nobody! Tbh I think a lot of us were unprepared for 2020+, and many generations globally are learning how to live (again). Safety -eroded. To some there is no road the road is out. We go on foot from here!
