Awesome! Usually these covers are awful, this one rocks! Even one guitar down it still works, the drummer should take a bow, so laid back. Singer is fantastic, strong voice and doesn't try too hard and that gives it that true new wave edge.

Ben Orr had a really high voice. Deceptively high because it was so resonant. Probably easier for females to sing than most men!

Ric doesn’t sing that song, it’s the bass player, Benjamin Orr. They sound similar and have similar vocal stylings, but it’s Benjamin that sang it on the album and live. You can check out live videos here of the song, not sure if there’s a proper video, but you’ll see that Mr. Orr, (deceased, cancer) handles the singing, masterfully.
