YO fellow 5th gen lude owner here, a project that'd freshen up your already gorgeous lude would be to scrape the old rubber off those window trim bits and wrap them with some satin black vinyl, its easy! I did it a bit ago and it makes a world of difference.

I tried that but the rubber coating wraps around and is one with the velvet piece that keeps rain out from between the window and the "window molding" so water doesn't run down the window into the door (you can see it from inside the car). I tried using a heat gun to release the adhesive and scrape off the peeling part but it was very difficult and went to shit for me, ended up melting the plastic, didn't turn out how I planned at all and just decided to pony up and get new ones from Japan instead for ~$210CAD from eBay. My car's nowhere near as nice as yours but it still made it look a lot cleaner, probably better looking than wrapping it or painting or whatever and you get the new velvet piece as well and only labour is install, so to me it was worth it just to buy new..

Also if you want to get the window molding off I wish I had known to roll down the window and pop the clips from the inside, I did it from the outside with the window up by trying to stick a screwdriver with a towel under it like I saw in a video and it didn't go well, apparently it's supposed to be done from the inside

Nice I enjoy watching someone giving the Lude love. I miss my black ‘99 SH mt I had bought with 27k miles from 2004-2009. It was my first car and keep it clean. Just dropped coilovers with 18” wheels forgot the brand. I grew up with Cambodians back in Massachusetts so I be around Civics, Integras and some had a RSX. The 2000s in my 20s it was like living a movie!! Crazy days!

I have max speeding rods my Lude actually lowered one inch which is what I wanted I live in the dmv area a lot of potholes speed bumps etc… I have no complaints

If youre talking about “clean” youre gonna have a hard time finding any honda that’s “clean” before 2001. Youre gonna have to rebuild one. And they aren’t rare just no one drives them lmao. They’re not s2000 prices cause an s2000 could have 40-60 mire horsepower than it, rwd, light etc. Value is from the majority

Ahhh man, head gasket doesn't sound fun at all but I'm glad I was able to help out in a way :D While you're in there, might as well get the head resurfaced and the valve seals replaced. Good luck!

On my 8th Gen civic, yes but on the prelude, you’ll have to get upper control arms with the camber adjustment

If havent bought these, please dont. Like how rawrkee said in the start of the video they send these with longer struts then there supposed to be so the ride height makes it look like a monster truck. Stay away from these at all cost

Nope, Even free. Not worth it. Best ride Stock struts, tien springs and top hats.
