Have you ever been out in the elements n harsh surroundings to put out a fire that looks like something usually seen in a disaster movie? Around here it's lots of canyons n massive rocky situations and finally millions of acres of wilderness . Usually the fires are over 350000 acres. It's scary stuff for everybody and critters. Many blessings. Btw. You might want to learn about aerial firefighting and be damn thankful for it. And the brave personnel who are risking their lives every minute. My dad was a smoke jumper and my bro in law as well. We don't take kindly to bs incl non removal of dead n down timber and slag. I didn't say clear cutting. It's responsible removal of timber areas.
