People do realise the band is under the age of 20, new on the scene, just got a number one record, and have a very original sound. Don't judge them purely on a cover, go listen to some of their original material. Actually got some good new music coming out and people just want to put it down. The Lathums are fantastic already, imagine what they'll be in ten years.

Brilliant to hear that indie sound again, I can here The Smiths and The Housemartins in there which is just fantastic. They have some great songs of their own and the youth now finally have something decent to listen to. Im 51, have been a huge music listener for a lifetime and love this band.

Saw them last November when they supported Kasabian. I'd never heard of them before not a note of music. They're young lads and bloody good, I think their sorted, getting on their feet and know what to do, how to do it while enjoying it and they deserve it.
