@@followerofjesuschrist5297 Thank you for the reply. My apologies for my very delayed reply. I dont believe Shabbat is just a covenant as it was established by Yah at creation of the universe. Who, gave the Church of Rome the authority to change what He instituted from the foundation of the earth? Yeshua specifically stated, if you love me, keep my Commandments. Its not just the hearers of the Word but the doers of His Word. Be perfect, just as our Father in Heaven is perfect. The only thing I know pf that we no.longer have to do is blood sacrifices for our sins as Yeshua completed this at the cross. But, we must still observe Torah otherwise were taking the Lord's Name in vain.

The bible verse you quoted is a statement of Jesus's "purpose," which was to "fulfill" the law. How could He abolish something and fulfill it at the same time? Also, He could have "abolished" the Law without His "purpose" or "coming" being to "abolish" it.

It's a Mosaic commandment and, as Christians, we are no longer under the Law of Moses, rather the Law of Messiah. His accent is sometimes difficult to understand, and I guess, English is not your mother tongue, so perhaps you missed this important distinction. Try re-listening again to the whole video.

Yes I agree with you we under new testament so we live by the spirit/faith the laws are written in our hearts. Jesus made away because it was impossible for them to keep the law. God gives us a new obedient heart.

The law " written on the changed heart," by the Holy Spirit, certainly would indeed confirm that murdering would be wrong, as would any other of the big ten be, to the born -again follower of Yeshua, as the Spirit of Truth is our Guide. I also can say, by experience, that having a personal relationship with Yeshua, and conversations, He might also add, " I know you are frustrated with so and so because he hurt you, I see and know your pain, and will deal with it. He is hurting also, why don't you pay his rent for three months. " This personal conversational, intimate relationship goes far beyond what the law asks for. And is also unique to the people involved. This is not replacing the law, but being ear to the Living Heart of YHVH, it's not a rule, it's a dynamic relationship. Isn't that stunningly beautiful!

@@ay613 you over complicate it. Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments. Jesus never came to speak his own words but the words of the father only. There is no new covenant, only a renewed covenant in his blood. He finished the transgression of the breaking of the blood covenant. Jesus himself says not one jot or title will be removed until all is fulfilled in the Torah and the prophets. Well not all has been fulfilled. He hasn’t returned yet to make his enemies his footstool and all the other things written about him by the prophets and in Revelation. I know the tangled web modern Christians have tried to weave but it is not so. John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments. Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. We know what the Will of the father is. It’s been made clear by Moses, the prophets and Yeshua. All the interpretations I hear is this new greasy Grace theory mixed in with paganism sun god worship. Ignore Gods Word at your own Peril. Your theology forces you to ignore Gods Word including but not limited to the passages above. Paul tells us in his letter to Timothy that all,scripture we learned since youth (Torah, Prophets) is good for doctrine, teaching, reproof and righteousness. I have news for you. They didn’t have the New Testament as you call it since their youth. It’s time for Christians today to wake up and realize they have inherited lies from their fathers. This is the prophecy of the end times.

He mocks, saying he would much rather having ham in rye rather than a locust in a bagel. Yeshua's cousin, Yochanan, or John the Baptist, ate locusts we are told in the Gospels. Why is Fruchtenbaum not mocking him for his Biblical diet, but he actually is by extension. 🙃
