@@warefera the questions was not a problem, they needed to be asked. But why ask a question you didn't require an answer for. We wanted to hear the interviewee's full response now we don't know his full belief system concerning what doctrine he follows. I don't know the dr. Y-tube suggested this and i was like there's someone who doesn't believe in tithing, now let me listen to their angle and the scripture he based his doctrine in cause this is the first time I even hear his voice. I ended up with half answers so what's the use of the interview? 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Even in debates, if this was a debate not an interview answers are needed. In A debate both must ask questions and both must answer and both must put across their points and defend them with evidence and in this case SCRIPTURE, so this is definitely not a debate it was an interview as only one person was asking questions, it's an interview but a very strange one. The interviewee should answer questions asked, period, give them time to answer even if you don't like the answer you called him to understand his belief system though, you don't agree with it. The interviewer was not interested in the ANSWERS and it's ok cause it's his platform. It was a tackle and topple match.

Hi Paul Adom-Otchere. Thank you for bringing this clarity. Please it would have been good if you had listened to the explanation the pastor was giving so you could have asked appropriate questions and not argue. It seemed you prepared to argue with the pastor. To get a black and white answer. The pastor was just explaining the truth he found out. That Jesus satisfied the law of tithing does not mean you stop giving. It means your giving is no longer by compulsion but motivated by love. Using the law for knowledge of God's expectations of man; then living freely in Christ with the guide of Holy Spirit is the new way of God. Let us walk in the newness of the freedom Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection has afforded us. More to unpack on the newness of life in Christ. For Christ is the hope of glory! SHALOM!!!

Tithe predates the law in that Abraham paid tithe, Jacob paid tithe. If we are to continue in the faith of Abraham whose children we are if we walk in the same faith through which we are justified, then it behooves us to do same. The epistles never condemned tithing but silent on it because we are to walk by faith just like Abraham. A careful study of the Bible shows that human life on earth began by grace, then the law, and closes grace. Even under the law, grace was hidden.

The views is as a result of the fact that the world loves controversial people. Not because he is right. Dr Abel said that in Malachi 3, God was speaking to just the priest, not true. Read Malachi 3:9. He was speaking to the whole nation. Damina said, the 10 commandments has no curses attached to them. Lies. Read Exodus 20:5 and 20:7. If that is not enough, read the expanded version of the curses in Deut. 28: 15-68. Verse 15 specifically said it was for the commandments. Tithe was not given under the mosaic law so it cannot be abolished with the 612 laws ( by the way, they are 613 not 612 like he said). According to his argument, if Hebrew 7 said they need to be a change of priesthood from Aaronic to Melchizedek, then lets study Melchizedek practices like we would study Aaronic practices if we were to be under the law. Melchizedek received tithe (Gen 14:20). So should all the priest that subscribe to his priesthood under Jesus. Jesus could not have collected tithe because he was made a priest after the order of Melchizedek after his death not before. If we argue that Jesus did not pay tithe, then it would be very wrong for him to approve it and advice people to do same (Matthew 23:23). That Dr Abel speaks passionately doesn't make his arguments correct. Let's be guided.

You must add that Abraham is the only person to have tithed before the law. He tithed not from his possestions but from the things belonging to those kings. Also add that Abraham tithed once in his lifetime. That Jacob never tithed. He only made a promise. Therefore his giving of the 10 percent was not because there was a word of Gof requiring him to do so but because he voluntarily promised. Note also that the promise was conditional - on condution that God made him successful.

Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD Almighty. “But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’ 8 “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse -your whole nation-because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe, ” says the LORD Almighty. 12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the LORD Almighty.

It became worse that leaders in the church do care for the hungry and the needy, they only feed and acquire more vanities in material possessions. The church is hungry, yet the ministers are not ready to feed the hungry.

If Paul had let him speak, Pastor Abel would have been able to embellish on Jesus taking away the legality of the tithe. And the video ended right where Pastor Abel said, "the tithe is only 10%." 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 is about giving freely and with love. Not legalism but giving out of an honour to God and to man and therefore going back to the two commandments of loving God and loving your neighbour. All the other commandments where God says "don't do xyz" are because in these ways you dishonour both God and your neighbour. Love wins the day even in our giving... which should be done out of a loving heart and not legalistically.

The pastor is very right in his explanation about the tithe, we are in the days of the grace, we are expected to pay freewill offering, what ever you have been blessed by God in a week you are to bring to God from that freely from your heart, metisedec promised to pay ten percent of what he has if he go to war, and come back it was promised he made, and God leads him to the war and grant him victory, so he needs to fulfill his promises to God by paying the tenpesent as he promised, you pay what you owe, and give what you have from your heart not by compusrie or by forst a tithe is for the prest and you are a prishood and I'm a prishood who will pay tithe to who, it's a freewill offering from ur heart that little you no you can give willingly with out gruges that is aseptable by God, God bless you all, pastor Dan, more 🔥

He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Mathew 5. I think what vast majority of people or Christians have not come to realisation is that from the day we become "born again" through Jesus or righteousness of God in Christ Jesus we are blessed. We are walking in divine nature of godly. But the "sin nature" is still with us. Wilfully or continuing failing or sinning may reduce our faith, which we need to repent and ask the Lord for help to live the Christlike. These prosperity/grace churches are more and more emphasising on money giving. That only money giving will prosper you. Instead the church emphaising on trust and obey. "I do not believe that if I am living in sin and tithing or giving huge amount of money God will bless me due to giving large sums of money. No!!! God love sinners but He has no pleasure in sins.

Dr Damina is very spot on Like Dr Damina rightly said, the 10 commandments is different from the other over 600 laws of Moses which are ceremonial laws. These ceremonial laws are what Christ came to fullfil. Part of the laws he fulfilled was immediately after His sacrifice on the cross, the daily sacrifice in the temple stopped till this very day. The inner most part of the temple that was never revealed to the public was revealed and the whole world saw the arc of covenant. The law demands that there will be a daily sacrifice in the temple but Christ crucifixion fulfilled that already. That is a complete fulfillment of the law. Problem is that people always think the 10 commandments is part of the other laws which are ceremonial laws. The 10 commandments is a moral law. Moral laws represents the character of God, they are deep rooted into our conscience, this is why even as a non Believers u know that to steal is a bad thing, to kill is a bad thing, to do idolatry is a bad thing. This commandments Christ NEVER changed, they will remain forever. There is a reason why they were written by God's own fingers and put inside the arc of covenant, the other 612 laws were written by God and put inside the arc of covenant. If only Believers study their Scriptures daily and ask for the Holy Spirit to teach them, they won't be confused.
