This series can't last long on youtube. The gangsters are kosher rather than Sicilian, which is the popular mythos. Thanks for the historical accuracy, for the brief respite, anyway!

Great TV series, thanks. But too many ads especially as how now YT's got them without the markers and circling back doesn't work because these episodes are on the uploader's playlist and they automatically go to the next video when they're ended.

Ironically, NBC had trouble selling this series to potential sponsors during its first few months, so it was mostly presented on a "sustaining" basis [promos and PSA's filled the commercial breaks]. In the fall of '59, it finally gained a regular sponsor: Alberto-Culver [VO5]. Yet NBC yanked the show off by the end of the year. Because of the popularity of "THE UNTOUCHABLES", however, they revived it in May 1961, with Brown & Williamson [Kool, Viceroy, et. al.] as alternate sponsor with Alberto-Culver. The network finally cancelled the program at the end of the season.
