Can you actually make a build series like this? With the virus a lot of people me included started playing recently more and with all the updates that have come it would be cool to get some fun builds for pve and pvp such as maybe a good katana build, a good tanky build, maybe a skirmisher build? This would be a great idea for the new players and possibly older players!

I am a greedy hoarder so I cant run any other build other than the 'treasure goblin' build 😕. Max encumbrance, a mixture of defense attributes and the seasalt cutlass for guaranteed bleeds on every strike including the quick strike while shielding. I dont bother with strength since the damage comes from the bleed. Its not the most 'effective' but I like it 😅

Another weapon you can use in your hands as support for the Thrall is The festering One. You with Festering, either Crom or Adventurer on a Follower is dead red mother in 30 seconds

I use that too sometimes. Great for stacking bleed and poison. But with the scythe, I stand under the red mother's belly and chunk her down really fast. Otherwise, I have to keep running out to teleport my thrall out of the ground lol

Heavy and light are considered basic attacks, the 4th grit perk is talking about the special ones like the greatsword's downward swing.

you can do something similar with a one handed axe and a throwing axe or dagger in the left hand. Plus, 1h axe has shieldbreaker, so you chew right through the shield guys too

If you had some str armor pieces, then moved some points from STR into grit, you would have more leftover stat points.

When I farm the red mother I give my thrall the kingslayer polearm and plan on them being pushed into the ground they keep poking at the belly it's wonderful

Firespark!, I believe different fighter thralls have different abilities in which they can achieve good improve % chance, like spinas can have 85% str chance so with the gruel is 99%, but relic hunters can't achieve that level of str chance... Can you make a video about this? Like, what fighter thrall has a good chance of getting great accuracy % improvement chance, thus making him a great archer, etc. Love the content btw, cheers!

The percentage chances are not the same every time m8. One spinas may have 85% the next may have 50%. Its a gamble every time.

@@Firespark81 I know, but the min-max varies from 1 high tier thrall to another, say I can achieve almost 100% vitality on a lucky relic hunter (fighter), but I have NEVER achieved even near that on str, a lucky spinas on the other hand can get close to 100% str, but maybe not accuracy... see what I mean?

my pvp claws build: 30 str 40 vit 40 grit, you can spam (left click) attacks forever and you move faster while attacking with claws. 30 str is sufficient but you can also get 40 str. there is also 50 vit variant. you are also not slowed down by cripple, over encumberance, or berserker's draught (+20 str for 7 seconds but slow moving debuff afterward). usually people panic and dont fight back so its easy kills, but if you come across a good player, they will counter you by going all-in with a good 1h axe. havent played for a month so i dont know if this was nerfed or not. you dont have to make jhebbal claws, you can farm a pair from a boss in the den. same stats, but has no timer, and sort of low drop rate. and FYI, its better to go into 2h axe spinning combo by first doing 1 left click swing for faster animation.

I think changing some armor pieces to get strength could save you some points to get 3rd perk in vitality. Might be worth messing with armor to get better stats. Fun build regardless ill tweak it a bit to adjust for me :) i like build videos this is a nice change

What alternative weapons can be used if we can't get the scythe? Also what about using the venom infused war axe and a throwing axe? You don't get the full rotation like the two handed axe but you will get a poison stack each attack and you have a whirlwind of damage.

Best option would be the flawless star metal great axe, no bleed, and no strength bonus. thing about great axe attacks is that once you start spinning you have the best hyper armor in the game, and the less interruption equals more dps. war axe/throwing axe is also a fun combo, but the idea of this build kind of hinges on the great axe heavy attack. anythings viable really but right now this might be the best player dealt pve dps right now

It looks like you're minmaxxing since you've got the buffs and all, so you should min-max the armor pieces, too! Executioner's Hood gives +3 Str, and Godbreaker's Gauntlets also give +3 Strength. So you could use those, and get your grit in other slots to maximize on total stat points for your armor. Then you'd just need to rejigger your stats slightly. But since your Strength is so high it would save you some points. Your armor stats should be the same as whatever you've invested the most points into (unbuffed), since those are the most expensive on a per point basis. If you can save a point or two of Strength (which you have a ton of) you can buy multiple more points of Grit to make up for it since you've purchased less of it.

^ This, also if you're gonna be using statfish already, you're better off using Moray Eel + Catfish + Grouper for +3 str, vit, agility, and grit (and accuracy but no one cares). With these fish and the suggested armor, you could easily hit that Vit threshold you were looking for. You can also adapt this for a legendary farming build and go 40 str and pump encumbrance, since 30 enc is a pretty big jump. tldr: Anglerfish is useless since Moray Eel gives Grit AND Vitality. If you only want 2 consumables, you'd still be better off with moray and catfish for 3 str, vit, and grit.

I just have a lazy build and make my thrall do all the work. I would usually bring a 2 handed hammer just to inflict sunder and then maybe bleed. My thrall just tanks and annihilates everything. I like 2 handed axes. I just kill things while spinning and I will just stunlock them to death. I use a different weapon for shield guys tho

How do you set your thralls up. When I engage in a fight they take forever to attack and then when I start running around to heal they follow me and don’t stay on the target. So annoying to deal with that.

This video was before the new thrall changes. You need to check their behavior. Set them to Guard you, and make sure their attack and chase range is maxed out.

thats so weak, 50+ strenght and blade of the adventurer and u'll kill all in ur path in a single combo. A good dodger counters the use of more then 30+ vitality - 20+ in grit and 10/10 in encumberence and survival. the 10 in survival reduces debuffs with 5 secounds, totally worth if ur bleeding or poisoned.

Is fierce vitality seriously worth it? It’s horrid slow. I was enjoying it before the fix and it honestly wasn’t that powerful. .5 hp per second is just moronic for 30 ranks. I mean at least 3 would be much better

If you get the stats to be rounded i.e 40 STR, 20 GRIT, 15 ENC. You'll PROBABLY be able to reach 30vit. Haven't tested, u should give it a try, that 3rd perk of VIT it's mandatory. BTW 3perks in GRIT is more than enough.

I can tell you you wasted a lot of points you could have put into other things. You should have split the bonus points between grit and strength, although personally I never go past 20 grit, it's just not worth it.

It is a grind fest but you'll be to be lvl 60 with 27points str, 27 points agil, 33points vit, 25 points grit, I put 8 in encumbrance to carry some things you'll be left with 5 points I believe, spend on whatever you want. You'll want to equip a agility warpaint, and eat the fish from the improved fish traps or drink elixirs to boost all of your stats or just the main ones (str,agil,vit,grit). The hard part is getting the equipment, for legs and feet you'll want the vermin hide pants and boots(each give +1 to all stats) for hand slots you'll want the gauntlets of the brute(+3grit), torso slot you want the commander's chest plate(+3 vit) head slot you want the helm of the brute(+3str). That's not all weapon you'll need the right weapons to finish off the str and agil perks you'll always have the 3 grit and 4 vit with the stuff listed above, to get the fourth perk of str you'll need The bane of khosatral khel, to have 4 perks agil with that you'll need the sheild Black bruargh's fury I also run with a spear The vaulting pole, to poke people at distance and it will give you the 4th perk agil as well just won't have the 4 perks str when you use this weapon

being professional conan pvp player i can tell you that this build isnt that good...the weakest point is the vitality(it must be at least 31, if ur enemy has 41 points on vitality- u lost for sure, unless he is scrub)
