Good film, but... I always thought it was a mistake to have the whole 'King's Evil' subplot. It's only a relatively short film, they didn't really have time for it, there was surely enough material to be had just from the whole concept of 'LoG characters in the real world'.

After reading the comments I expected this to be really bad but I was pleasantly surprised. I have some issues with it though, especially the ending. The story wrapped up nicely until we find out it was “all a dream” and then all of the character development went out the window.

Ahem I beg to differ... I think they're all still alive because one of the writers is still alive(we thought he died when he fell) Also at the beginning of the movie he was shown to be the one who wanted to keep making the stories of Roystone Vasey. Somehow he ended up in one of his own stories with the animal tails he was talking about at the beginning lol

*Spoliers!* So this concept is insane, not only do the characters come to meet their writers, but the one character writes himself into something on the writer's computer as the character that he was originally written as in a completely diffrent story AND era, only to eventually attract the attention of the villain from that story who then goes after the writers to free himself from being fictitous. They should use this to make a film based on the television show Evil, which was just cancelled....but more serious ...It'd be perfect for it.

Well BoLLoCKS to that coz I'd just like to know how the fuck I managed to miss THIS, I not only watched the original, bought 'em all on discs and X-Mas specials I even read the Alan Moore/Kevin O'Neills graphic novel versions All of them,they were well written intelligently so each one has you backtracking through books and films & 60s TV programmes, and reading many for the first time but it Did go off the...well I would say plot but won't.
